  1. I remember the score of that match being much closer than the wrestling appeared. I don’t think Kennedy scored any offensive points, did he? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What happens when a full tank of gas is on fire? [emoji91] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yes because it fits my narrative Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I like his criteria but I would consider Pat Mckee a great tournament guy. Unfortunately not made a final. He’s like 13-3 in two NCAA tournaments with a 3rd and 5th place finish lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Pinto has an impressive win over Trey Munoz at CKLV I’ll give him that. Other than that has he beaten a top 15 guy? Losses to Bolen, Malczewski, Cade King, Salazar, Keckeisen, Assad, and Saha AbdulRassaq. He puts up a lot of highlight reel moves, but still has a lot of improvement to make imo. Which is to be expected as a freshman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. McKee beat Courtney for 5th last year. I think that’s the only time they’ve wrestled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. What a match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That was brutal. Mendez has national titles in his future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This weekend is going to have so many backups across the Big Ten lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This is what I thought. Him being enrolled vs him actually wrestling as soon as this week are two very different things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Woodley??? What did I miss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have a question I didn’t want to start a new thread for. Is this Mason Parris’s last year of eligibility? I forgot he never actually used a redshirt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Tom Brands needs to get his team some more vitamin c. They seem to have sweeping illnesses at least a couple times a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Siebrecht went double unders and put Brayton to his back almost instantly, rode him for the whole period, and then it was a whole bunch of nothing from there. Brayton got in on some deep shots late but never really threatened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Man I hope you’re right but the way he kept getting caught flat footed against a wrestler he’s far better than, and how badly he was limping afterwards, idk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Nice to see Minnesota keep it close in terms of team score, and definitely wrestled tough in the matches we lost, but if Salazar is hurt then it was all a net negative imo. He’s one of few that I think can score points in March but that leg looked bad late in that match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah, well, I think our U of M is cooler. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah I wasn’t necessarily bringing them up to say they are reasons to not bring Mesenbrink in, more so to say that he would already have two guys around him that he already knows well. Riddle is likely a depth guy, long shot to be a factor in the lineup. Millard though I think can be a good starter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ethan Riddle is a 174 from AWA coming in as well. I’d imagine that Millard 157, Mesenbrink 165, Riddle 174 would work just fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Cody Goodwin is an A+ follow on Twitter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Decent amount of AWA guys going to or already at Minnesota. Hoping they have a shot there. Whether he’s a 165 or 174 that’s round peg meet round hole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Probables have TBA @ 184 for Iowa. Assad not listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I worded it weird. What I meant was, outside of Brayton, Nagao, O’Reilly or Salazar, everything else would be a major upset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I think there’s a path to victory for Brayton Lee, and wouldn’t be shocked if he did it, but any other wins than that, O’Reilly, Nagao and Salazar would be significant upsets. I’m not seeing it… but would love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Iowa is a really bad matchup for Minnesota on paper. Especially with the way Brayton Lee is wrestling, and Iowa having the only 125 that I am confident McKee cannot beat (obviously). 125 Lee pins McKee 0-6 133 Nagao dec Teske 3-6 141 Woods dec Bergeland 3-9 149 Murin dec Blockhus 3-12 157 Siebrecht dec Lee 3-15 165 Kennedy dec Carlson 3-18 174 O’Reilly dec Brands 6-18 184 Salazar dec Assad 9-18 197 Warner dec Foy 9-21 HWT Cass maj Joles 9-25 Would love to see the gophers win at 157 but I ain’t banking on it. My unpopular pick is Salazar over Assad, but I think the other two wins are reasonable. Hope we can keep it close at 141, 149, 165 and 197. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
