  1. And then he turned 2X Champ Mcdonough in the finals soo your point is moo...
  2. Interesting match-up for sure. Definitely see Robles turning Spencer when he's on top. But then again Spencer is the strongest 125 OTA so maybe Robles wouldn't be able to hold him like everyone else. Give me 125LB Michigan Suriano over either.
  3. I'd imagine you'd see a LOT more shady stall calls at key moments. The international refs have more of a flair for the dramatic after all.
  4. It'd be really interesting to see what countries invest in having a top game.
  5. Carr's best strategy Outslick and pull out all stops for match 1. Sandbag Match Two, just take the L. Get match 3 to as close to a toss up as possible and hope for the best.
  6. Well known fact that Dake has never been younger.
  7. Yeah, historically Dake has struggled on that stage.
  8. How does Bartlett not know he needs to open up at this point. It's cost him so many times.
  9. Mesenbrink or Carr can make some noise.
  10. I think we see Dake at 79KG for this year only. He's chasing legacy medals now.
  11. The strangle rates are about to skyrocket then.
  12. How long does it take 100 Mesenbrinks to tech a single 'biggest of the big" gorilla? Keep in mind Gorillas allegedly have low stamina. Folkstyle? Freestyle?
  13. Another fantasy loss for Dake. I got Dake over Father Time +/- 5 years. He's just too close with Mother Nature.
  14. "Mitchell will come for you. And you will do nothing because you can do nothing."
  15. This one was a classic JB jump the whistle victory. Dake should've been prepared for it. He turned the same thin on Nolf years later.
  16. This happened 1 time, in 2017. The match was 2-2 and if memory serves JB and the ref both were using boxing rules.
  17. Some would argue he finally beat Burroughs when there was finally a level playing field.
  18. I'd think given where he practices he has a pretty good gauge on where he stands at 86KG. I don't think much changes for him unless he has in fact gotten old. Kadi just jumped to 86 and seems just fine.
  19. Dake losing fantasy matchups is a tale as old as time.
  20. How in the world is Kadi as thick as he is already, he was 74kg at the Olympics last year and he looked as bulked out as Ramazonov.
  21. One of the best "What Ifs" in recent time is how much earlier he would've made the world/Olympic team under the current setup. He went through some absolutely insane gauntlets prior to meeting fresh JB several times. In retrospect it's wild.
  22. Based on his recent interview it seems like he won't be seeing 74 any time in the near future. Is this a tacit admission of aging? I'd think this means he's likely to committ upwards during the next Olympic cycle. Perhaps Mesenbrink as a partner has wore down his desire to stay at 74 haha.
  23. Everyone that's ever been involved in WWE knows you always go out on your back and put the next generation over.
  24. Does Kharchla still have eligibility?
