  1. Stuff happens. They were wrong. I believe that Brooks is better than Starocci. I believe that Griffith is better than Coleman. What is Carter has the sniffles and his core temp is .1 degree above normal? I don't think it is worth the risk.
  2. Wait... shouldn't we be talking about TWO LOSS Kerkvliet?
  3. But but but they were 100% sure he would win!
  4. Was PSU staff 100% sure Brooks would beat Coleman?
  5. I got the bracket 100% wrong. O'Toole and Mesenbrink both undefeated. Two loss Carr was 4th.... despite being a NATIONAL CHAMP. However, I'm pretty sure that the current formula with have undefeated Wyatt at #2 over one loss Daniel Gregory.
  6. Your OP said he won nationals with one leg. I compared him to someone with no legs who won, only to lose the next year. Also there is no way that the PSU staff KNEW he was going to beat Griffith during the dual. Nationals came AFTER the duck. They had some good evidence only after hurt Carter beat hurt Griffith. People DO lose matches. Brooks did lose a match to ISU his 4th year. I don't think Carter was necessarily "afraid," but I do think the staff sometimes makes decisions to minimize any risk to their athlete's seed.
  7. Should he be #2? Yes. Will he be? Prob not. Where was one loss O'Toole seeded last year?
  8. Vincent Robinson has a loss, which I know you know, and is an honest mistake. Has this list been updated and you mistakenly attached an old version?
  9. Yes, especially as it appears there is a decent chance that Yonger is done. Does that make Daniel Gregory (or whomever is 2nd in Big 10) #3 seed or lower?
  10. Brooks at 92 with five seasons. (No nationals in 2020, and a shortened 2021)
  11. The only benefit would prob be not giving "a folkstyle feel" to the other guy.
  12. There is a lot of flu and "abnormal core temps" for PSU guys throughout the year. Some have been sick multiple times during the course of the year. It seems to be relatively new. I don't remember Taylor ever having an abnormal core temp during his career.
  13. Spencer Lee won a title on "zero legs" and two years later he was pinned by a guy who DNP the next year. (and Griffith was hurt at nationals too, as was Mekhi)
  14. So cautious that guys wrestled in "less important" and "easier" matches, but skipped ISU.
  15. Under oath and penalty of perjury
  16. The Assad family is terrible. However, at least we knew what we were getting with them. Who knows what springs up now? I've wanted to see the Assad's gone a long time ago. I have Lebanese family. I also had a former co-worker who survived the Marine Barracks Bombing. I blame Syria (along with several other nations/groups) for the mess that is Lebanon. But I'm not sure Assad isn't better than a number of potential alternatives that we are looking at now.
  17. Two ivy league degrees definitely is. Or do ivy degrees only count as an indicator of intelligence when someone you like has such a degree? Lots of smart people say obnoxious and offensive things. They can still be "bright."
  18. I can see that. But who is to say he was actually concussed. Maybe it was something else. I'm not privy to the Spartan Combat medical info.
