  1. Not at all. Brands hasn't thrown a chair or a brick at an official that I can recollect.
  2. Neither Brands has ever done anything remotely as bad as that...
  3. See... that is not how it works. If he picks up a couple stalls, maybe he wrestles differently? I'm really curious: have you ever wrestled? What are your thoughts on some of RBYs matches?
  4. Over? By pin? lol
  5. Kyle Snyder disagrees.
  6. Yeah; It was really bad when Trent was almost taken down and intentionally reached off the mat to stop the action! Oh wait, that wasn't him.
  7. Vito already out of discussion. Wrestled part of a season, took a loss to a freshman, ducked, not dominant.
  8. Robbie Howard and Shayne Van Ness have entered the chat!
  9. How many times a year does he get the flu?
  10. The PSU review works now?
  11. He was in danger of being taken down.
  12. I looked for it yesterday, but was unable to find. I believe it was at Sunkist, 2008ish.
  13. Except, there is probably little more embarrassing in sports than when one man is trying to crawl off the playing surface and the other man grabs him by the foot, pulls him back in and says something to the effect of "Uh uh, you're not going to get away from me, I'm not done with you yet." This translates to freestyle, folkstyle, BJJ, MMA, the playground, NFL football, etc.
  14. Wrestled him in freestyle when both were pursuing the Olympics. Askren absolutely embarrassed Pendelton and was talking to him during the match.
  15. I just thought it was funny! (and Gus was whom you were responding to) But seriously, I thought going back to 2007 was humorous.
  16. Like they prob did with the Iowa State 133.
  17. In 2007 lol!!! Thanks for answering the question. Going back 17 years, the precise age of the kids whom "no name" Askren may be theoretically recruiting.
  18. Also, Ben has complained about the facilities and how they are probably unable to build a modern wrestling facility. (I've never been to UW, but apparently not a lot of area to build new structures.)
  19. Also coming off a bad stretch, which goes under the radar because they are not Iowa or Oklahoma State. (to add to your point)
  20. So you are saying that he has name recognition?
  21. My 19 year old is at an ACC school and knows who he is!
  22. Kids in their know who he is. UFC. Flo. PFL. Fargo, etc.
  23. I'm assuming you haven't travelled to Long Island much?
  24. I disagree. It comes out looking weird in retrospect, but at the time the NCAA was trying to make sure athletes (across all sports) would be willing to play their sport in 2020-2021. The fear was that athletes would not enroll/play for fear that their season would be canceled if COVID numbers spiked. This was the NCAA saying "go ahead and play, it won't affect your eligibility one way or the other. Free year!" I'm pretty sure the NCAA was concerned about football/basketball revenue if they didn't do this. Could it have been tweaked a bit? Yes, I'm sure. It doesn't help the Pat Lugos of the world, but it kept the NCAA going.
