  1. He ain't transferring to Cornell! Hence the joke.
  2. That wasn't your implication. Your implication is that Vega will always be the starter. It is even possible that he could be bumped by Forrest. I'd doubt that "he will be fine" if Forrest ends up in the same weight.
  3. It's a good joke, I didn't know anyone would personally be offended. Remember when he flipped on Cornell? Now he's been recruited over. Pretty funny.
  4. Sergio Vega 157? or transfer to Cornell?
  5. I agree that the most recent tournament was evidence of smarter wrestling.
  6. He is an all time USA great but... Yoshida beat him recently. Snyder just has not improved in years, and maybe even slipped since the move to NLWC. I have been saying this for years. Never developed par terre and actually seems to have a smaller repertoire on his feet. Now, there is a growing number of international guys that have passed him or that he struggles with. Unfortunately not a lot of help for the USA in the near future.
  7. The OTT performance are often blamed on the weight cut. There are supposedly "horror stories" about Yianni's condition during this cut. So there's that. Are you just disregarding his OTT weight cut, which made him move up a weight, and have been credited with his poor performance? His WTT concussion may have also been due to a weight cut. His overreliance on scrambles puts him in bad positions that often involve some interesting scoring AND injury. Look at his Zain matches as well as World finals. Probably Lee matches and some other international losses, too. Again, I didn't start the hot/cold talk... just saying that he has had issues other than injury. Both the weight cut and the unnecessary scrambles have been frequently been talked about in wrestling media and on this forum.
  8. The original Yianni post claiming he was hot/cold was not mine.
  9. Yes, Yianni has had injuries, but they are talked about often. Yianni's recent concussion and college ACL are mentioned most times he is talked about. He's also hot/cold bc like his buddy Vito, he has been someone who took on ridiculous weight cuts. Also, he gets involved in a lot of unnecessary scrambles, where his opponents are as likely to score as he is. (and also lead to injuries) I personally like him, and think he is great, but the problems run deeper than just one thing.
  10. Yes. I also remember him breaking a Naval Academy students jaw during a brawl in Baltimore back when PD3 was in high school.
  11. 6th amendment: Rights of the accused, not alleged victims.
  12. There was plenty of Downey talk on TheMat.com, especially with his daddy participating.
  13. Too big of a country. How about Lichtenstein?
  14. He wrestles for FCA? Isn't he a bit old?
  15. Thank you! Unfortunately, now that I have figured out the correct spelling, he has retired.
  16. AND they may take four wives if local ordinances allow. Plus divorce is super easy under sharia law.
  17. Monogamy does not seem to be as important in Islam as in Christianity.
  18. Parties that last days. When do these people find time to work?
  19. They also would like to to fit Sergio Vega in somewhere, I would assume.
