  1. What makes it mysterious to American eyes is that it is inconsistently called, in comparison(s), to how it is called in international matches.
  2. You shouldn't have to wonder that in any case. I still create threads occasionally.
  3. You could stop grasping at relevancy with the OSU bit. Oklahoma State is OSU. Respects should be paid to them - appropriately so. As their Twitter eloquently puts it: "34 NCAA Championships. 143 individual National Champions. No one - in any sport - has more." Edit: Furthermore... even actual athletes and coaches from Ohio State say THE Ohio State University. Almost as if the THE matters more - ergo tOSU.
  4. https://www.ohiortc.com/ That one?
  5. You mean ORTC then, not tOSU.
  6. I think if they guarantee the Top 8 seeds get at least a first round bye, then we might see more take the ranking series seriously. Maybe even factoring in some sort of exchange/picking procedure. You let the Top 8 PICK their seed, or even have their coaches have a proper seed meeting that seeds the Top 8. Could even make it blind. Have the eight coaches seed them 1-8. Tiebreaker is whomever had more seeding points. Keep in mind I mean only the Top 8 highest seeding point earners. Sadulaev, for example, would not have been eligible this year. Another approach that makes it 'fun' and a play off of the above is that you have the eight seeded gents blank. Then you let them choose their spot. For example, Snyder sees that Sadulaev is up top so he chooses the 2 spot, for a chance to meet him in the finals - out of respect.
  7. 3.14159, this is π Followed by 2-6-5-3-5-8-9 Circumference over diameter 7-9, then 3-2-3 OMG! Can't you see? 8-4-6-2-6-4-3 And now we're on a spree 38 and 32, now we're blue Oh, who knew? 7, 950 and then a two 88 and 41, so much fun Now a run 9-7-1-6-9-3-9-9 Then 3-7, 51 Half way done! 0-5-8, now don't be late 2-0-9, where's the wine? 7-4, it's on the floor Then 9-4-4-5-9 2-3-0, we gotta go 7-8, we can't wait 1-6-4-0-6-2-8 We're almost near the end, keep going 62, we're getting through 0-8-9-9, on time 8-6-2-8-0-3-4 There's only a few more! 8-2, then 5-3 42, 11, 7-0 and 67
  8. Does anyone know what weight Ringer is going for OTT?
  9. Thinking is backwards. He beat Nolf for 3rd at 2021 World Team Trials 4-3. He beat Dieringer 5-1 at 2022 World Team Trials. Dieringer beat him 7-1 this year though. So who is improving/regressing?
  10. It was at 79 KG. It is(was) still a legitimate win. That was definitely vintage Stalrocci. Stalrocci also lost to Lujan at that same tournament, even if he beat Nolf and Dieringer.
  11. Just watched the Bey - Azeri match. Bey had nothing for him either.
  12. It would suck, yeah... he is clearly our #1 130 KG guy. If he isn't happy, though, then he can do something about that.
  13. I also want to put in to perspective something else. Bruce Baumgartner? One of our Mount Rushmore gents? He is on there because of course he is an all-timer... but one thing to also consider is that he didn't get his 13th medal until he was 36 years old.
  14. He would insert himself directly in to the conversation as Top Tier on the new age with Parris, Kerkvliet, Hendrickson, Cassioppi, and Davison. I am all for it.
  15. Schultzy didn't even try after he got dropped with that bear hug.
  16. That Lithuanian is built like Adam Coon - just a little smaller, so that is encouraging as a Coon fan and discouraging as a fan of the USofA.
  17. Remember when Dabe Gean said he was going to go Greco and there was a lot of hoo-ha about how we would 'finally' get some top tier athletes in to Greco?
  18. Back? Incorrect terminologies aside... I bet John Smith could make him float like a butterfly.
  19. More like eight gallons of tequila, six irish car bombs, and 42lbs of bacon.
  20. Warner and Cassioppi have gotten worse the last three years. You can fck right the fck off.
  21. I don't understand why Snyder is put in the same boat as Taylor and Dake. If DT and KD were to retire now Snyder would have to compete at five more Worlds/Olympics just to get to the same age. By that time he will have 14 Worlds/Olympics medals. He is 27 years old.
  22. He has never been effective below 70 KG.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up at some tourney in Europe with Chamizo in his corner.
  24. Can you tag me on Twitter?
  25. Flo doesn't have them up yet. Lame.
