  1. She is 21 years old. She is young and not going anywhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolgorjavyn_Otgonjargal
  2. Mongol bellies out with ~8 seconds to go to let her get behind. Hildebrandt loses 7-5.
  3. She is pulling up her socks. Time for a sprint.
  4. 30S and down 7-1... Hildebrandt with a TD to make it 7-3. Back to their feet with 13S remaining.
  5. Hildebrandt on the clock... gets taken down then turned. Mongol working for a pin. Mongol with two turns. Called to their feet with 60S remaining. Hildebrandt is down 7-1. I don't think she has the horses to come back.
  6. Completely different body styles here. Mongol is built like the Japanese girl that tanked Gray earlier. Very stout.
  7. Mongol here with a helluva underhook and Hildebrandt with a MEAN wizzer here.
  8. Kilty techfells the Russo. Very nice.
  9. Did he really? I know Richards beat Gilman two nil... if Gilman challenges I still expect him to win. I am not worried about Gilman against any of those guys and they better hope they are on the opposite side as him so they still have a chance. Cuba always has someone tough there, if they even sponsor a squad. They seem to be struggling with that for some reason. Micic wrestled out of his mind. I don't agree on Zain. I think he is right there and styles make matches. If he goes 74 KG I do think Dake destroys him... but he could play spoiler to another foe or two along the way. I wish Pantaleo would also have committed to 74 KG and done the same. Fix is too short for 65 KG. I am okay accepting that. I honestly wish he'd Oly-shirt this season and enter midlands at 141 as well as the BF at 65 KG to test the waters. Same for Arujau, even though Arujau has already said he will not Oly-shirt. Arujau has been a different animal since he has decided to focus on wrestling and not weight management. The guy needs to not go 57 KG. Same. You contradict yourself there a bit, don't you? If Destribats was less of a concern and they are more game, then they mus surely be more of a threat. I don't think any are for Gilman at 57 KG. A sucked down Fix and Arujau against RBY? Not so sure. Cruz just isn't dynamic enough to give either of them a match, nor RBY - imho. He never made 125... he made 125.7 (57 * 2.2046 = 125.6622). In any case, he has been toying with 61/65 recently and decided two weeks ago he was going 57 KG again. It is bonkers to me that he can be weighing 145lbs and decide two weeks out two years in a row and bring home a medal. He meant that despite him toying with going up to 65 KG he has been consistently going 57 KG at Worlds and Olympics. His 'Tokyo' comment is wrong since he legitimately made 57 KG at Worlds last year (2022) as well as a few ranking tournaments (right?).
  10. Pushout Maroulis with 1M30S to go in the first.
  11. Maroulis down 2-2 to the Azera 60 seconds in.
  12. Marouilis on Mat B next.
  13. Hildebrandt up with the 14-3 victory with 24S remaining. Ballsy win.
  14. 10-3 Hildebrandt with 55S to go.
  15. This Azera is legit, btw guys. She's like a 10 time Worlds/Olympic medalist. Six worlds and four Olympics. - 2 Gold - 5 Silver - 3 Bronze https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariya_Stadnik
  16. Hildebrandt up 8-3 with 1M0S (60S) remaining. Some sort of caution called - didn't see it. Azera coaches challenging and refs calling for the Azera to be put down in parterre.
  17. Hildebrandt with another hard-fought takedown. Hildebrandt up 6-3 with 1M28S (88S) to go.
  18. These ladies make RBY look slow. Hildebrandt with a Takedown - no turn. 4-3 Hildebrandt with 2M5S (125S) remaining.
  19. Azera with a takedown out the gate in Period 2. Hildebrandt down 3-2 with 2M35S remaining.
  20. Very similarly built... I guess they have to be at 50 KG... The Azera appears to be physically stronger, but Hildebrandt just a little more hard-nosed.
  21. Hildebrandt in a dogfight with the Azera. Up 2-1 after the first. Has had to fight for every millimeter.
  22. Like I said... she just looks thinner than she did. Less muscular. And Japan was jacked.
  23. I hope Blades gets her at U23s.
  24. Gray loses 4-1. Very poor match strategy the last minute. Not sure wtf was going on there. My guess is Japan was just physically too strong for her to get anything going and she lacked that extra kick to give it a go at the end.
  25. Trying to push her out down 3 with 5 seconds to go?
