I really thought(think) Pendleton is a much better answer at OSU. It is very possible that he was approached and he said "Nah I am happy at OSUW."

While I believe Ramos would pick up where Coleman left off, I also believe that a guy like Kolat could take UNC to the upper echelon and make it a destination school in the ACC ready to compete with NC State and Virginia Tech each year. That said, I don't see anything that Ramos could have possibly done wrong to not get a serious look and for a school like UNC which is basketball then football they might just be looking for a safe pick (like Michigan State).

Bouzakis and Mendez both only lose to the eventual champion taking Bronze (Bouzakis) and Silver (Mendez). I hope they both go next season. Let Mendez wrestle and utilize that redshirt if he ends up needing one due to injury down the line.

They have a shit tonne of Olyshirts available, so it is hard to tell what they will do even if Stalrocci doesn't return. They could even do Barr at 174 with Facundo and Mesenbrink on Olyshirt, Haines at 165 and a Lee or Bearclaw at 157 and still win NCAAs running away.

SDSU has Sloan at 197 so I assume 184.

To this day I don't know how Desanto didn't get some sort of 1 game/match suspension after attempting to maim Micic at NCAAs. Fernandez deliberately attempts to hurt his opponents. I don't, no. Not unless he separates himself from his peers in the room. I think what I was hoping for last year comes to fruition, just with more competition in the room. Striggow seems healthy and Bullock has changed his name to Swollock. I think Bullock ends up being the starter. IF Walters separates himself from the room, including Swollock, then I think he only gets the nod if it is the difference in points between a 4/5/6th finish for UofM and a 3rd. Keep in mind they only give trophies out for 1-3 now, right? With the state of 197 right now, I just don't see him getting the nod. As hard as I am on Carroll (I would argue I am a realist, not a dreamer there) I know I need to be here, because 197 is deeper that 285 and it isn't even close. I could see Carroll getting 7/8th. Walters? Using wrestlestat, I just don't see him beating anyone in the Top 12ish... and there are many below there I don't see him beating (right now) either.

I also thought the same thing. In Kozak's defense, he did say 'like' which provides some leeway.
