I still thought Cael, a guy I thought could win a match or two at NCAAs (maybe just one...l at 184 after going up from 174, would smash Negon, a guy who was a tiny 165lber last year after going up from 157 who went 4W-13L down the stretch last year, especially up at 184.

Than the yearly Pan-Am Championships.

Not trying to get anyone riled up here... ... but... In WFS we got a Gold and a Bronze yesterday. We might get two Bronze medals today. We have two gents going for Gold today in Men's GR. 2 for 2 on medals. Our MGR are on pace to outperform our Women's at the Pan-Am GAMES (these are supposed to be every four years and more prestigious).

I haven't been able to watch today. Did Kyle Welker fail to medal at Pan-Ams? Wasn't it like six months ago Flo was clamoring that it didn't matter who of our top five-ish ladies won 76 KG trials, they would be the favorite to win Gold at Worlds? Our 76 KG class has looked quite mortal.

I am not as interested in him. Nothing against him, I just think that his finishing position is AA as a low 3rd as a high. I don't see him challenging for a NC and I don't see him, so long as he is healthy, not pulling in AA this year.

Even so... Dustin Plott just wrestled 79 KG at U23s and is going 184lbs. Sonny Santiago just wrestled 74 KG at U23s then weighed in at 157lbs yesterday. Until we get ~halfway through January I am going to wear my tinfoil hat and hope he goes 184lbs.

I am curious what sort of jumps from Year 1 to Year 2 they make after having him in the room.
