  1. Davis showed he wasn't going to back down in that match, too. Berginc shot a club that would make Hidlay happy and Davis didn't back down.
  2. Davis is skinny. They need to utilize that right now before he grows out of it. He just won 5-1 w/ RT over Berginc, who Majored Howard (who InjDef out of his 3rd place match) 12-3 in the semi-finals.
  3. Thank you for these updates @D3 for LU.
  4. Wom on a RT point tok. Bearclaw has to get on top first.
  5. Damn. And now watch... someone will rank Mesenbrink at like 22nd and Fish at 14th... despite actual logic.
  6. Looks like I fckn nailed it. Good game, guys.
  7. This may be one of those scenarios where Davis gets to choose. Beating Lujan 4-2 doesn't make him a lock for points at NCAAs either. If Davis wants to go, give him the nod. He isn't head and shoulders better, though. Nothing proves that either (yet).
  8. Nah. We dumdums.
  9. False.
  10. Looks like Teske is in and Olguin is out at 165. https://www.facebook.com/100020514319965/posts/1458605301499933/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v
  11. I am really looking forward to seeing him against Fish, potentially. Fish isn't flashy or dynamic. He is consistently persistent and fundamentally sound.
  12. Baylor Fernandez is such a ***ducking** cunt.
  13. Also the last half of your statement there is stupid AF. Keep up with the stupid comments and the last little bit of people here that don't think you're a complete idiot (which I am one of them) will hop that fence too.
  14. Nah. None of that. I think preposterous statements such as him being a lock to AA are stupid, though. I fully expect some sort of excuse from you, not him. As a fan of wrestling I believe a better Penn State is better for USA Wrestling. I see nothing from him that makes me believe Penn State is better with him and not Davis. The point may be moot. If Howard pulls of a win in the semi-finals against Berginc it may be enough to keep Davis on redshirt regardless of how Davis performs.
  15. Nothing of what I said changes. He has clearly regressed. He didn't favor any shoulder against Steen. In fact he didn't favor anythung except doing nothing.
  16. Then he shouldn't be on the mat. He didn't attempt anything against Steen. At all. Edit: Furthermore it was Steen initiating everything, including getting two points off a reversal.
  17. There are those using the same justification as you to call him a lock to AA. I don't see it. It isn't a conditioning problem. He looks to have regressed as a wrestler and he wasn't a lock three years ago.
  18. Eh... are you also calling him a lock to AA?
  19. Vanadia is Malczewski's heir apparent for MSU at 184lbs. They expect big things from him. I expect a comfortable Barr win, but I am looking forward to it.
  20. Any relation to Drew and Sarah? Edit: Looks like Drew and Sarah are from Indiana and John here is from New Jersey
  21. Or that Foca has Olympic aspirations and understands that him competing at 184lbs is much better than him competing at 174lbs for a run at 86 KG (189.6lbs). (Un)Related: Dean was a no-show at 86 KG for the BF.
  22. That means Larkin weighed in at ~147.7lbs. He was extremely lean. He isn't making 141lbs.
  23. It has been mentioned a few times on here. Might not be this thread, but it was mentioned. Damn.

  25. Howard was seeded 4th, Steen 5th, and Davis 6th. Howard's opponent, Gardner Webb's Concepcion, was 4W - 4L on the season thus far and he won via 6-4 Decision. He faces Steen next. Steen's opponent, Binghamton's Wagner, was 1W - 1L on the season thus far and he won via 12-5 Decision. He faces Howard next. Davis's's opponent, Long Island's Waldmann was 0W - 2L on the season thus far and he won via 15-0 Techfall in the first. He faces Army's backup, 3 Seeded Farmer, who is technically 5W - 0L on the season but does have an actual loss to D3's #1 Josiah Fry via 4-0 Decision. It will be a good test. Davis already holds a victory over Steen via 11-3 Major. Ergo no McHenry at this time
