This is what typically happens when someone hits rock bottom and has no place else to go. Somewhere along his journey he told someone “connected”about his foolish behavior and how his decisions in life came back to bite him, and hard too. He obviously embraced it, began to study up on it, it made some sense - especially listening to other wrestlers proclaim a similar mindset, and so now he’s excited about this new mindset and wants to share it with others. This is what typically happens initially. I know I’m beating around the bush to appease the haters in this forum, however a thread was created and I feel I’m well versed to respond based on my own personal experience. I’m very confident this very well may be what’s happening with AJ. Hopefully he tones it down - preferably all together and allows his actions to speak for itself. I wish him well, I really do.

I think he’ll do well against both. To be honest the guy kinda a grew on me a bit during the tourney. He’s far from who he was when he won it all a few years back but he’s a work in progress both mentally and physically and I’m willing to give him a chance if he keeps himself out of trouble with less me, me, me and more we, we, we (what ever team he lands with).

The ads are at its worst - getting tired of trying to rewrite something after a pop-up sneaks in from the bottom. Surely one of you “legends” can convince the owners to knock it down a few notches.

Sorry to repeat myself, but I felt the need to share this same post I made in another thread. This one seems more applicable. I watched a video on You Tube last night called “Should Iowa Replace Tom Brands” by BEG Wrestling Exclusive - about 10 minutes long. By the time it ended I was reminded why this team was always a favorite of mine - way before PSU. As the saying goes, “figures don’t lie but liars will figure.” After watching this historical documentary of Iowa results after Brands took over, there’s no way Brands is going anywhere.
