  1. History is littered with people who have done things in spite of having the consequences effectively communicated to them. Nelson’s an adult, time to cut the apron strings.
  2. He did know better. The only way he could not have known is if he, his father, and his uncle were all complete morans.
  3. It’s the same advantage that Iowa had when Dennis took Spencer Lee with him to Rio. As long as they follow the rules, there’s no problem.
  4. Jimmy, shouldn't their new logo be a nothingburger?
  5. To be fair, in Jimmy's World there are absolutely no consequences for placing bets.
  6. Penn State employees have the option to choose the state pension system or TIAA/CREF. PSU employees are not in teh state healthcare coverage.
  7. Penn State is not a private university, but they are not a completely public university. PSU, Pitt, Temple, & Lincoln are considered as State-Affiliated and they are only partially funded by the commonwealth. For PSU, Commonwealth Appropriations typically account for 4-5% of their operating budget. 10-11% if you exclude the PSU Hershey medical system and PennTech. Penn State releases the top 25 paid employees, but it is only on their base salaries. For 2021, the lowest listed was $662,311. So we know that Sanderson's base salary is less than that. His total combined compensation is anybody's guess. On a similar note, when their football coach signed a new contract in signed a new contract in 2021, it was reported that his base salary was $500,000 and the supplemental, etc. was an additional $6,500,000 per year. Their new basketball coach supposedly signed a seven year contract that averages a combined $3,700,000 per year. https://openpayrolls.com/rank/highest-paid-employees/pennsylvania-state-university
  8. UCLA and SoCal inspiring the BigTen to add water polo is a much safer bet.
  9. Clarion’s Tippin Gym has a listed capacity of 2,500. They averaged 174 people for 7% capacity.
  10. Neither did Stoll’s.
  11. Have you ever seen Jimmy and Mineo in the same room together?
  12. Later ones for CDs were similar to the ones that libraries still use for videos that are unlocked at the counter. In the 1980s, it was common to have cassettes and cds put into a long plastic enclosure that was not removed by the store, it had to be cut off when you got it home.
  13. The worst were those long plastic cases that cassettes and CDs used to come in. My brother and I used to use out dad’s bandsaw to open them.
  14. It’s a shoddy abbreviation for Industrial Technology and Packaging. I was surprised that it is through their College of Business rather than their College of Engineering which has both Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering degrees.
  15. Sportsmanship is still a criteria for the Hodge Mason Parris wins 2023 Hodge; Starocci, Diakomihalis finish second, third By Mike FinnUpdated March 27, 2023 According to Wikipedia......
  16. According to the criteria for the Hodge, it is supposed to play a role. Past credentials.
  17. The last time PSU scheduled Clarion, it was a one for one.
  18. Cael has always liked to finish up the regular season with a cupcake at home. 22-23: Clarion 21-22: Rider 20-21: Maryland (covid, only conference matches) 19-20: American 18-19: Buffalo 17-18: Buffalo 16-17: @ Oklahoma State 15-16: Oklahoma State 14-15: Rider 13-14: Clarion 12-13: @ Rutgers (at home v Rider the week before) 11-12: Pittsburgh 10-11: Wisconsin
  19. UCLA & USC are joining to get the football and basketball money, not to lose more money by adding other profit draining sports.
  20. All of the current schools have softball, will you insist that USC comply?
  21. The Walter brothers are personal favorites of mine.
  22. Greg weighed in at 256.2, Tony was at 247.8.
