Man, Spratley tore through the bracket, including a tech over Joey Cruz.... Cruz appears to be struggling at Iowa - teched by Ayala and Spratley.
eOSU is deep between 141-149 - impressive win for Williams.
Yep... he's been dinged up. Should be at Vegas. I was hoping he would be in Iowa for the Caliendo match. Double OT at NCAA last season - would have been a good one.
This might upset a few people, but Jaden Abbas was injured during a match at the Road Runner open. Not sure how serious or if it was just precautionary.
Here we go.... the classic dual vs duel. Surprised we have gotten over a year without this 78 page thread.
I agree.... dual. But a duel, is between two.... ught oh.
That was not good. I know what’s up with a couple guys but where was figs? Assuming that Valencia could t get to 174 yet.
Negron looked decent last week - Whiting dominated.
Joey Davis - Two of his seasons are on wrestestat - He has wins over Wilps in 2014 who finished 7th at the D1 NCAA and 2nd the next year. He has a win over Rasheed who went on a few years later to finish 7th. I have no doubt Davis would have been a multiple AA in D1 and possibly a 1x champ. I think that was his ceiling. Certainly not undefeated. A far cry from Cael.
LeVesseur - As mentioned - transferred out of Minnesota mainly to play football as well. It's hard to find individual match/season results for him and who he matched up with at tournaments that were D1 AA or starters. I think he would have been a multiple AA as well. Would not. have been undefeated in D1. I believe Bertin and Johnston were the finalists at 157 his senior year in D1.
Cael- No comments necessary.
See how I am responding directly to your quote...that's how that works. So instead of pissing match, how about a real answer to the actual appropriate punishment for athletes betting on their own school? If you answer is to compare to Harbaugh, who is a coach and did not have the same infraction, then so be it. 3 duals?
Jim Harbaugh wasn't an athlete betting on his own school sports, his staff violated the sportsmanship policy of the B10.... so let's start over so you can understand the question:
What would be the appropriate punishment for a student athlete who was betting on their own school sports?
