Dake is too small for 86kg. He will have to adjust his strategy against the 86kg elite wrestlers. It would take a mini miracle for him to win gold at this weight class.
I remember the one bout early on the Dake vs Burroughs saga. Burroughs scored a takedown and leg laced Dake into oblivion. He definitely injured Kyle. Burroughs is a stone cold killer out there. So is Kyle Dake.
He's really not that tall and I don't think he will have the leverage advantage at 86kg. 79 kg he will most likely dominate, but he is too old and small for 86 kg. But, if anybody could do it, it's Kyle Dake.
I'm not sure about the rule, but criteria is the way to go. There's never a tie. Someone is always winning or losing. The ridiculous folkstyle OT to rideouts scoring is terrible.
