Colleges traditionally found the easiest and most cost effective way to regain compliance is to drop mens teams. This has caused D1 wrestling to shink dramatically over the years. With more money than ever needed to stay competitive in football, I see more schools dropping men's teams than adding women's teams. Hopefully sanity returns at some point and we see more athletic teams to add to the college experience, which was suppose to be the point.

I see a lot of haters. If you are not entertained or interested in where Bo goes, or his updates, simply do not read the post. Of all the crap going on in this mixed up world and all misdeeds of so many athletes some want to vilify Bo because they do not like him counting down his college decision? Give me a break! I enjoy it. I look forward to the weekly eliminations. Look at all the dating/reality shows on tv where there is a weekly elimination. This is the way of today. Some here are stuck on "Lawrence Welk" and "Hee Haw" mindset. Enjoy it or ignore it, but lashing out only makes you look petty and small. Tatoos are not acceptable now? In who's world? I have zero tatoos and probably never will, but damn, that train has long ago left the station. The percentage of people with tats these days must be at an all time high. Why not let Bo be Bo? If you are not a fan, so be it. But posting negatively about a high school kid because he is not doing things the way YOU think HE should act and live seems, well, petty.

It certainly is not the way one normally celebrates winning the starting job.

Some schools can pay kids to sit on the bench. Some may be satisfied to hit a few opens, have a little spending money, not watching weight as close, and enjoying college life. Not a bad gig really.

I agree Fargo is no longer as important to the top wrestlers it once was. Many of the top wrestlers focus on world events rather than Fargo. Fargo is still an outstanding tourney, but many of the elite turn their attention to their college teams or world teams.

I just want say how much I love the ads. I have a lot of free time so I enjoy watching all the ads dancing all over the forum. The best part? Clicking those bastards by accident and getting redirected. I know personally I am encouraged to buy the product. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing I am contributing to more of thses ads popping up all over everything I view on the internet. Rock on!

He is too small for a major D1 program too. Low D1 or a D2 maybe. I think he would be a pretty good wrestler though. 255-260 would be a good fit just about anywhere. I hear he may be paid pretty good too.

Why recruit high schoolers when you can recruit proven college wrestlers? Top programs will always pluck top talent from lesser programs, this is the new normal. Very few top teams do not have transfers in their line up. Rank the top 5 teams that do not have a transfer in their line up. This could be fun.

Is 24-25 season championship going to remain status quo? Or will it be split THIS season? It seems the seperation could cause more unattended consequences. What is the consensus about 40 teams D1 money about 35 non money? How many would qualify for "nationals" at that point? Does everyone go? Do the numbers get reduced? What would it do to attendance with number of teams qualifying a wrestler reduced to each event? Would the venues need to be scaled back? Will they be held on the same weekend? How will the military academies be handled? Will conferences be split for post season?

So impressive! I love the board of tickets too. Each with its own memories. It is a shame tickets have gone electric. Something about "game tickets." I have saved many big event tickets I have attended as well. I guess it is a thing of the past.

Am I the only one that is dumber for trying to understand transfers and grad transfers? Can any prominent wrestling persona contact the NCAA and have a representative come on a podcast or similar and explain transfer rules like we are all in the 5th grade? Is a definitive answer and understanding too much to ask?

Pro teams have taxi squads to practice on and occasionally pull up a player due to injury or what not. Colleges uses that 50-85 as a taxi squad really. Why do they now need 105? Idk. Back in the big time schools would have 125. Oklahoma would bring 8 out of the top 10 RBs in the country, let them fight for the position AND keep the other guys off of their rivals team!
