  1. Where's Ragusin been? I wonder why Walter's didn't go at 197 today? Gilcher continues to be the most strange wrestler ever somehow he'll wrestle tough against good people and get wins and then get destroyed by unranked guys. Catrabone is one of the most exciting wrestlers Michigan has had in a while he actually attacks and keeps trying to score the entire match something we rarely see from Wolverine Wrassslers..McNeil seems to be struggling he just can't get a positive Mojo going he'll get some big wins and then take losses he shouldn't be taking in a million years so I wonder what's going on with him. Sotelo definitely looks like a candidate for a All-American finish. Ghadiali isnt wrestling as well as Davison and Heindselman did the last 2 years. So far it looks like the Michigan men are underperforming again, and losing all the close matches which has been a problem the last few years
  2. If he pursued it after highschool and played football in College, which he had a ton of solid D1 offers, he could of made the league, but after not playing for 7 yrs or so it makes it that much harder for a restart comeback story. I know he was a great ILB with perfect size. 4-5 yrs of college football weight training would have made him alot bigger n stronger vs wrestling lifting/training. He looked small little there next to the other charger linebackers and d ends. Im glad he's back on the Mat for sure!!
  3. Wow and facundo dominated Levi In freestyle I wonder how well Alex could have done in this situation. In my opinion I think he makes this team if he would have had the chance
  4. Beau Mantanona techs Ruiz 11-0 to win 2-1 and the 79 kg championship
  5. Massa's have a Club and so does Donahue or will he used to he's the one that coached all the studs that are in college today and of the last five to 10 years
  6. See ya. Most inconsistent wrestler ever... can wrestle a top five ranked guy really close and then get majored by a guy ranked 20 or higher
  7. Lance Palmer for example was huge how on Earth he made 149 I have no clue he was built like 195... and definitely has one of the most swoll physiques of the past 20 years. It just seems like today's era the wrestlers arent nearly as buff and muscular as wrestlers in the 80s 90s and early 2000s... look at the 149 Pounders up to even the 184 pounders of the last 10 years and even today and a 149 lb Palmer looks bigger than most teams 84 pounder... all those Ohio State guys NATO was huge for his weight Snyder was huge and ripped Bo Jordan was huge and ripped you just don't see that as much today.
  8. Nick Simmons needs to get back in coaching he would be perfect for the lightweights
  9. 1999 2000 2001...Michigan 189 took 5th my first year ever wrestling I was a football linebacker and basically learned a few moves and muscled my way to all my victories... the next two years after getting in a little experience I took third and second at 215. But I chose to play college football division 2... I definitely wouldn't have been division one wrestling material when you got strength and learn a little bit in the upper weight in high school it's easy to muscle out matches LOL
  10. Facundo will win 1 for sure and top 3 other years if he gets 3 years he might win too
  11. He sure did if the rules were like they were today back in his era he probably would have won an Olympic medal or two or at least a couple World Championships
  12. This is where you would also add Nick Simmons for sure his biggest rival they had some crazy matches for the semis and in the finals I believe in both battled to make the world team for years
  13. Nick Simmons is right up there with best to never win one
