    I was talking to a retired college coach who hosted many huge college opens, he said that if he was coaching today, he might consider not letting high schoolers into his tournaments. Not much good can come out of a HS freshman beating your college kids

    Many teams only have X amount of cash or scholarship equivalency to apply towards scholarships. So any savings by taking advantage of instate tuition can be applied to other wrestlers .

    I lean towards one date but I would assume that coaches run this question past their compliance folks(who then call Indy) for the answer. I would hope that coaches don't rely solely on their own reading of the NCAA manual but when all else fails, I would bet they all read the different forums for the final ruling

    Braeden Davis of MI defeated 2x NCAA D2 champ Cole Laya of West Liberty in the semifinals. Davis went 4-0 with a pin in the finals
