    National GOP can let the NCAA make their own decisions. And I certainly want them to keep their grubby hands out of my own state. For me, that supercedes the actual trans in sports issues.

    The overall point here is that it is NOT a national priority. So many more important things for Trump to deal with. Sports are fun and entertainment. Let the state and national athletic associations govern themselves, including the NCAA. GOP can keep their controlling and grubby hands out of people's lives. California can govern their own high school sports, including track and field.
