  2. hamiti almost feels like the MM hard counter just a step ahead so far
  3. miller vs kasak is a really exciting 3,4 big seeding implications for kasak I would think too
  4. Jesse is really special
  5. ok boys second biggest match of big 10's now fourth biggest for the day
  6. 133 seeds are gonna be insane
  7. he and Stanich will be 1,2 I think
  8. could see him ending up at 141 or maybe even 149 that cut looks like it may be a pain for him kids long and pretty put together.
  9. Mckee over Davis Ragusin over Shawver Mendez over Beau Gomez over Lovett Haines over Lewan MM over Hamiti Ruth over Griffith Salazar over Truax Brooks over Glazier Kerk over Feldman KOT over Carr Wyatt over Yonger
  10. notable performances Jax wins his way though with all techs and pins avenges last weeks 13-7 loss to Vargo with a 15-0 tech in the finals bo techs and pins his way through Melvin miller wins one of the toughest weights with a seemingly banged up knee Adam waters tech/pins his way through the tournament Aaron Seidel does not give up a point in a weight with 3 nationally ranked guys brandt harer beats baum and Gibson (both nationally ranked) to win state title rune Lawrence collects 4th state title
  11. the goat may in fact be back
  12. The cut will likely be easier for him now that hes had his hip repaired. I would imagine that made it much harder to get weight off, and hes competing this weekend which leads me to believe the cut is not absolutely killing him if hes not limiting his weigh ins.
  13. Stephen little, Bennett Berge, Anthony echemendia
  14. I was not familiar with Sloboda but Sidun could've won 121 and is going to be a blue-chip recruit so I will definitely be watching him moving forward.
  15. it pains me this thread is still so active
  16. let's be realistic.
  17. It seems like they kind of pick and choose where they base the criteria Brayton lee at 3 and Saldate at 6 is a bit wild lee is 4-0 in conference Saldate is 7-1 with a loss to Levi. I also think Nagao ahead of madrigal is odd as I said above. Madrigal is 5-2 in conference. He did lose to Schriever who Nagao beat but Nagao is 2-3 against people entered in the tournament and both wins are over the 12 Hampton.
  18. O/U on total points in Mitchell vs Caliendo and then hopefully Mitchell vs dean? I'll set Mitchell Caliendo at O/U 16.5 Dean vs Mitchell O/U 19.5
  19. based on the criteria they say they go by I'm not sure how nagao is seeded above madrigal but I really wanted to see him vs Van dee so I guess I'm grateful.
  20. I know PIAA always catches heat for how their seeding works but at 121 AA you have 6,7,8 ranked wrestlers nationally and two of them are going to be meeting in the quarters. Not really a post to hate on the bracket system because thats been done but I guess more to highlight there are gonna be some great matchups Friday. If all goes as chalk: AA: 107: Deputy vs Bachmann 1,2 Final 121: Botero vs gill 7,8 quarter 121: Winner of above vs Aaron seidel who's 6 127: Forrest vs vargo Final Forrest is ranked 2 but just lost to vargo who is not currently ranked 133: Brandt harer vs mason gibson 15,16 semi 133: winner of above vs Camden Baum who's ranked 13. 152: Melvin miller vs max stein 6,17 final AAA: 114: Landon sidun vs Sloboda, Sidun is ranked 1 sloboda is not ranked but he just beat sidun this past weekend final 127: Andrew binni vs eren sement final 13,16 139: Maddox shaw vs Brock weiss 4,11 semi 139: winner of above vs dalton perry whos ranked 12 Final 145: Manville vs simcov 1,3 Simcox is the 3 but beat manville in the regional finals 152: Collin gaj vs kollin rath final 3,5 160: Garvick vs Kunstek 10,18 Semi 160: Cunningham vs winner of above final cunningham is 14 285: Sean kinney vs nick pavlechko 7,11 final After doing these I should have used matscouts rankings and not flow but I am too lazy to go back now
  21. drew foster was never a HS state champ 2x AA 1 time champ
  22. I'm personally of the belief that having as many good guys in your room can only be a benefit, a good example of that obviously being NLWC and now Michigan's RTC I believe they have 4 Olympians in there now. However I think the united states is starting to approach Russia territory where we have 2-3 legit medal threats at every weight and in many instances in the same room and while that's awesome you do start to wonder if you want to prioritize the guys who will be representing the red, white and blue. Although I think the more American's in worlds/Olympics the better even if it does not show in team standings it grows the sport domestically.
  23. I think a lot of people argue (just make it a push out point) without thinking about how terrible and inconsistent grounding is called in and of itself.
