  1. Keep your eyes open at 79. Uruguay has a dark hose that goes by the name of Dylan Palacio Pintado.
  2. Indiana: Steven Micic, world champion and NCAA finalist. Division 1's first wrestler with a TUE for viagra and Centrum 50+ Mason Parris, world bronze and NCAA champion. Jim did you know that he also was a football player and track star in high school? I'm sure you didn't before but you do now. And I don't care what anyone thinks. Gable Steveson spent his kids club years with the Harvey Twisters and therefore the Illinois delegation has concluded legal precedent exists to claim him rather than northwest Indiana which is just where people go when they want to leave the city. There will be no further arbitration on the matter.
  3. Bono is a boner. But be careful what you wish for Wiscy fans because you might just get it.
  4. Yeah he's too short and already too big to be an effective edge. He's going inside and gaining weight, which means the Polar Bear path is an unlikely one.
  5. Not possible. This is the internet and I'm not about to let pesky little things like "facts" get in my way. Why should I stand corrected when I can double down and stand tall against the Main Stream Forumedia.
  6. wtf are you even talking about. Hidlay of all people? The kid won't even drink a beer.
  7. Correct. I appreciate the shine on people outside of Penn State athletes, but it's just not realistic. Great for shooting the breeze in between rounds at the bar though!
  8. Yeah Ringer is the one that started the whole lifetime accomplishment award and Retherford got hosed that year. I don't think they were calculating any of the domination points yet, but if I remember (and I could be very wrong) that according to unofficial napkin math Nolf had more regular season domination points but then tore his MCL and Zain went nuts through the postseason to nab that not-yet-created title.
  9. Is he also a psycho softball dad? Because he has psycho softball dad written all over.
  10. Ahh got it, I was just answering your direct question. OP is technically correct but wrong in practicallity. Hendrickson would have to pin/tech everyone including Kerk to have even been considered this year, and at that point he still would have been a finalist at best. Brand value and strength of competition means something in Hodge voter's eyes and this year's 285 crop + Air Force schedule doesn't carry enough weight, though that is no fault of Hendrickson's other than choosing to enlist in the first place.
  11. Jason Nolf was jobbed so bad. He was a generational NCAA wrestler who had the awful luck of being "only" the second most dominating wrestler his sophomore (Zain), junior (Spencer), and senior (Bo's Helping Hand) seasons. If there was ever a season that a Hodge should have legitimately had co-winners it should have been his senior season.
  12. Of beating Kerk? Yes. Did you not read the part that says
  13. If you look at the U23 worlds thread I believe I said something to the effect of "Hendrickson is going to win NCAAs. All aboard the Hendrickson train choo choo!" Then it came out that his knee was ripped up winning that world gold. Then he decided to let the VA take care of his knee later in life. Then Kerk went full-on Hulk Smash at the all star event. Is Hendrickson dominating even on a bum knee? Yes. Do I want him to win because he is the smoothest technician heavyweight has seen since Gwiz? Yes. Does he have a snowflake's chance in hell of winning a Hodge? Absolutely not.
  14. Hill didn't run into Kyle Snyder and trade titles with him at Fargo. I'd give the nod to Cox.
  15. Stevan Micic
  16. Just for shits and giggles I'm changing my pick and taking Cox at 125. The rumor mill is saying that he is going heavyweight because he doesn't want to cut weight for his last olympic run.
  17. hahahaha. okay.
  18. They say it's always projection. Maybe Papa Ferrari's twin turbos have shrunken down to the size of Focus four cylinders after years of cycling the engine
  19. As previously said in this thread, ask Kyle Snyder what senior level accomplishments mean for age group awards.
  20. No bones about it, anyone who wins a 4th NCAA title is also winning the Hodge this year.
  21. If Brooks, Starocci, and Fix all lose plus 165 winner has at least one loss, then Vito is absolutely in play. It's a very unlikely scenario but certainly is in play.
  22. Even if Hidlay upsets Brooks, the order goes like this to the voters: 1) undefeated 165 2) Starocci 3) Fix if he wins and goes undefeated 4) Vito 5) One loss 165 6) Hidlay But honestly the most realistic outcome is each 4x'er gets a Hodge because it has become an NFL MVP award at this point.
  23. No way. Wisconsin needs a coach who knows how to successfully navigate the transfer portal
