    Look at where Alvarez has been wrestling, report is the weight was not the issue. Who knows for sure, maybe Williams can get there but what I saw was a kid who doesn't yet have it. VV on the other hand has all the tools just needs to keep improving.

    Guaranteed like catching a Fly on sticky paper! Alvarez was brought in because they needed a 141 for one year. Young needed a RS but he also just had knee surgery.

    But we aren't talking about Elmer, you said "any athlete at any time" so I was talking about a high school kid (case similar to one that just occurred). We know all about the "birthday party autograph deals" going on for current athletes. But what about your "any" recruiting thing?

    So you are saying univ X could offer a high school kid C $1M per year and say "if you come we will find/raise the money." C could say to Y that X offered $1M/yr can you go $1.5M? Y says "sure" so C goes to Y. Nothing wrong with that?

    Well first, whether its FB, BB or wrestling, NIL was not supposed to be a recruiting tool. Its against NCAA rules the way its being used but we all predicted this because the NCAA couldn't keep up with enforcement before this cat jumped out of the bag.
