Bring the Pain by Meth would be a good walk out though.

7th Chamber. Method Man’s was the main verse played. Much of the song isn’t playable based on broadcast standards. Enter the Wu-Tang.

That was a WuTang song not Biggie

I don’t mind them that much. But by having both of them together we are losing a real analyst and background knowledge guy in the mix.

Is there a prop bet I can make on Bricks thrown????

Thanks Carl

https://cbulancers.com/news/2022/11/5/mitchell-mesenbrink-go-undefeated-on-opening-day-for-cbu-wrestling.aspx Trumps already has enough conspiracy theorist and deniers lined up for this years campaign, so need keeping up the dilusion. You are fine just come back to reality

Care to clarify what “nope” refers to?

He was at Cal Baptist. They gave him an offer that he accepted but then he kinda blew up after at the age group World Trials and World Championships. He choose to honor his commitment to them after. If I have this right he competed in two open matches as a redshirt, then decided he needed to look at other options cause Cal Baptist didn’t seem to be a fit for his ambitions. He went home to finish his class work online. Then got PSU to pick him up https://www.flowrestling.org/video/10319660-why-mitchell-mesenbrink-is-entering-the-portal

I get Jimbo alway reaching, but I’ll add a legitimate point here. Sure individually some of them didn’t quite make it as far as last year but enter in people moving weights and coming back from injury or redshirts and you get some of that. But on the team side of things the question would be was their “WAR” (in baseball terms) value enough to improve the teams chances. Did that team preform better by adding them to the lineup than if the squad went with who was slotted as the next man up instead. I’d assume that’s a big enough yes for those teams to want to keep diving into the transfer portal to fill some of their gaps until a young recruit develops more.

Come on I’m sure he will clear everything up for you with his post match interview.

Smith has no problems again waiting til the end to seal things.

Glaziers interview didn’t follow the Brands script of “if that’s all we have a finals then we need to do better.”

I can’t recall if he had gotten a few other offers but they weren’t from some of the decent wrestling schools. He took the Cal Baptist offer. Then after went on an amazing run to age level World Medal including beating Haines to make that team. Choose to keep his commitment to Cal Baptist after but he ended up deciding to leave there after participating for them in a couple early season open events. Reopened recruiting and Penn State among others came knocking after being impressed from his age level World Trials and World Championship run. Some of this story was hashed out on the board earlier is the season.

Definition of a late bloomer. Went from just on Cal Baptist radar to now a Big10 Champ possibility.

Backs were against the wall but they finally got some Pur-do in them in the wrestlebacks.

It’s Purdon’t at the moment.

I have no doubt Bob would hire “scab” to post in our place.

I’ll see what I can do this weekend and get back to you with the results of what I imagine.

https://umterps.com/sports/2023/11/7/b1g-wrestling-ticket-information Or contact any of the Big10 schools. I just don’t know what the turn around is if they are paper tickets.

The travel cost associated with these super conferences sure isn’t helping the smaller sports any. It likely be easier for some schools to just have regional competitions for many sports most of their season and not have a traditional conference schedule.

I was assuming you were considering top youth age coaches since Askren isn’t in the college coaching development ranks yet. Putting him with college coaching legends like Carl and Gable is a completely different level, especially since he’s not with his AWA kids nearly as much once they his the college level.

Being HC often takes you away from some of the daily development tasks you have more time to focus on as an Assistant. Honestly the top programs talent ceiling really shines through the skills that their assistance are able to transfer to the wrestlers. As a new HC Joe is likely discovering a lot of elements about that positron which he only speculated about before. Bring at an Ivy League has some added struggles that some of these other programs don’t have. Not to mention the struggle of a new coach implementing his system and figuring out how to convince the recruits to take a shot early on him. He seems to have some solid assistance at the moment so I’m guessing he just need to figure out how to new utilize their talents and we will should some progress over the next few years.

While we are at it who you got at 1 and 3?
