  1. What the media won't tell you is that when Syd was a little girl she found Carmen San Diego when nobody else could. Check Mate, bro.
  2. I can't tell if this is over the line or right on it.
  3. Well if he is as religious as he claims he is then my bet would be a church, praying to his god for a time machine.
  4. Maybe these two can beat the hell out of each other so we all win?
  5. My prediction is that Bo gives a dogsh*t take on the whole thing.
  6. I will focus on this one since I have personal experience with it. I couldn't disagree more with your assessment that it's hard to separate assault from wrestling. It's not. As a teen I had a guy on my team who was just like Carter. He did all of this sh*t that Carter is being accused of and it certainly could not be confused with wrestling. Believe me when I tell you that these guys that do this don't just grab your junk and stick two of their fingers all the way up your ass and move on, they love doing it and they make sure you know it's intentional. It's 50% of the reason I quit wrestling after nine years when I would have likely been a kid who qualified for PIAA states in high school because I was good enough. The article does mention that Carter did some of these things to teammates in front of Cael.
  7. We couldn't have drawn it up any better buy we could have easily predicted it.
  8. Literally anything because it appears as if they did literally nothing.
  9. He also hosts a religious podcast disguised as a wrestling podcast.
  10. This seems to be the prevailing theme at Penn State.
  11. The University Park Police are not rent-a-cops though. University Park, Pa (the campus) has its own zip code and own police department.
  12. If this is true he 10000000% should lose his job. Every coach at Penn State should. And anyone in the administration who was made aware of anything should lose their job too.
  13. Somebody who doesn't think their teammate is a thieving pile of trash I guess.
  14. I am done. As a PSU alum and massive PSU wrestling fan I am finished with PSU wrestling. How many times is Penn State going to go through this before a coach learns? I doubt you'll see me around here much longer since I have no interest in rooting for another program and I won't be watching PSU wrestling anymore. I really have no words to describe just how braindead these people are.
  15. You were certainly a late bloomer then. I am a late bloomer in almost everything except biology. I hit puberty when I was 11 years old, the summer before I went to middle school.
  16. Why are people so upset about someone spending an extra year in school? I really don't get how upset people are over this. People are losing their minds.
  17. Yeah I don’t care how old Bo is or why. States are very different. You are correct. My brother is 15 months older than me. He was two grades ahead of me. My college girlfriend was 14 months younger than me and graduated the same year I did. She is from New Jersey while I am from Pennsylvania.
  18. Are you from New Jersey by chance? Those ages seem young in comparison to Pennsylvania. I turned 18 about a month and a half into my senior year of high school. I had a few kids in my grade older than me. Everyone I was friends with turned 18 during our senior year of high school with one exception, a friend of mine turned 18 in August right before the school year started. None of us were ever held back or anything. When I went to college I found that people from NJ were about a full year younger than people I graduated high school with. I know that when I was in high school (1995-1999) you could be up to like 21 years old and play high school sports. There was a kid who went to Greensburg Salem (where Greg Jones went to high school) a few grades ahead of me that was held back a bunch of times but still played on their soccer team. I know he was 20-21 years old because everyone gossiped about it because he was quickly running out of eligibility.
  19. People generally prefer the term that applies, not one that means the literal opposite.
  20. This is a very interesting take. As a counterpoint do we think maybe guys take less risks as in they don't take any shots until the last minute of the third period if we do this? Maybe the 1.5 isn't enough incentive for guys to take a risk on generating offense and shooting? What about a 1-pt push out rule, but you can only be awarded a push out point in the last 30 seconds of a period? This way if someone is up 4-2 in the third and they run they risk being pushed out for an easy point multiple times. I honestly don't have a solution for this, I am just spitballing. This topic has been talked about for so long and they obviously thought they needed to address it by making a TD 3-pts but at this point maybe that wasn't the solution either.
