This is why I am against the death penalty. It's not that I don't think we have people who deserve it, it's that we cannot guarantee we will not put an innocent person to death. A matter of fact we have put innocent people to death. You gave examples and there is just no way we have gotten 100% of of the death penalty sentences correct. We are always 100% sure that someone committed a crime right up until we find out we are wrong and putting even one person who is innocent to death is too many. Not only that but there is a whole other issue of using the death penalty for other crimes aside from murder that would likely harm people even more.

Is it even a wonder that this guy had a history of stealing cars and now attempted murder? His father makes excuses and enables him instead of instilling values like taking responsibility for his actions. He shot someone and ruined their life. Luckily Sammy Sasso is the kind of person who can pick himself up and will build a brand new life for himself. This guy is doing his son no favors by completely downplaying what he did and volunteering to serve his time for him so he can walk away with no consequences for what he did? He has taken bad parenting up a notch here.

I can't argue with Hendrickson winning the Hodge. What a year he had and he capped it off by doing something considered impossible. Congrats to Wyatt Hendrickson who is now a legend.

I say this because if he was as good at football as advertised he would have spent the entirety of the fall with the football team and not with the wrestling team. If he wants to start at LBer for Iowa he needs all of the time with the football team (practice, film room, etc) as he can get. And conversely if he wants to be successful as a wrestler he needs to spend as much time with the wrestling team (practice, nutrition etc) as possible. It's just not possible to do both at that level. Maybe he will prove me wrong. I don't have a crystal ball. If he starts for the Iowa Hawkeyes at LBer this season then I will gladly admit I was wrong. However, if he does start for the Hawkeyes at LBer I would not expect him to compete at a high level for the wrestling team. But again, he can prove me wrong. I have nothing against the guy as he seems like a good dude.

You always hear how someone couldn't have committed some crime because they are a "God fearing man" or "goes to Church every Sunday" while history lis littered with people who were both of these things and committed horrible crimes. The idea that being religious equates to being a good person is one of the biggest scams in human history.

Frankly I think Wrestlingknowtnothing is a complete fraud. Guy walks around here proclaiming he knows NOTHING when he clearly knows SOMETHING.

If Ben Keuter was as good at football as everybody has said he would not have focused on wrestling this past season.

What is stopping someone? Evidence. It’s that simple. The thing you need in order to investigate this is missing. There is simply no evidence to bring down Tyler Kasak as a steroid using cheat, which is what this entire conversation is about. A baseless accusation.

He was never even close to winning a title though. His best finish was 5th. He also had a 6th, 7th R12 and he was a NQ in the cancelled year. I wouldn’t add him to this list.

Cael has failed to deliver any more than four in a row. He’s done it three times. What else does he have left to accomplish as a coach? Scoring record. Check. 10AAs. Check. National champ at every weight. Check. Five champs (tied for most in a year). Check. I guess five in a row and more than five champs are the next goals?

I am not entirely sure. I’ve read it repeated a number of places by guys who claimed to be in the know who were stating that he was going to enroll at PSU weeks before he did. I am assuming that since they had the inside info on him enrolling that they know what his eligibility is. I could be wrong. Or rather they could be wrong.

They should just give Nebraska the title already! They were the best team in the tourney!

I am pretty sure Ono only has two years of eligibility. Don’t quote me though.
