I honestly don't think he would be wasting a year in highschool and wouldnt he still have the ability to travel to Stillwater to train with the "RTC" during the season?

Aside from a few speed bumps, the last two pages of this thread has been pretty civil and promising that we can still find things in common and get along. Here's to hoping it continues!

Zahid perfect on the day and I don't think you could ask anymore from Forrest... Would have been an upset for Duke as well winning his match but nice to see he's right there so the only one that really disappointed was Hendrickson and we knew going in what we had so I'd say they were on target today all things considered.

Amazing stuff by Jax- I think there is a fearlessness to the young guys and the free way they wrestle coming out of highschool... I feel like you wouldn't see too many of our older guys scoring from the merkel standing straight up. Love it!

If we were to use the logic of @jrossfrom the other thread it would go something like this since stereotypes are his main form of interpreting reality. White male from rural Utah that shoots guns- shooter must be a conservative. Of course there are those of us that allow for nuance and second level thinking that tell us anyone can be radicalized or turned violent.

You do realize that Jordan Burroughs, one the all time greats- has liberal views? This is nonsensical to the point it shouldn't even be taken seriously or acknowledged. Again, this view is a shame and an example of being buried into an echo chamber so deep that even the thought of people of different political beliefs having similar attributes and passions is not fathomable.

This is an unfortunate statement... It would be like a liberal saying I don't understand why a conservative would ever watch a movie... We are at the point that people are wholly identifying themselves and basing their persona on their political party... People of different political beliefs are more than able to enjoy sports/entertainment that people opposite of their political ideology also enjoy. Politics should be about policy disagreements, not a persons entire identity. This goes to show how deep this notion has penetrated you as a person that you are unable to conceive of those that disagree with you politically to not also enjoy the sport of wrestling and its a shame.

I think you all need to stop living on twitter and Internet forums that only reinforce the inherent biases we have. Any self respecting person on the left or right doesn't agree with killing those on the opposing side.

I have a question. They say the shooter was on a rooftop roughly 200 yards away. How difficult of a shot was that? I'm genuinely asking. Is it relatively easy with an expensive scope or is there a fair amount of training involved to pull it off?
