    The medical forfeit means Lee did not report to the match and does not get charged with a loss on his record. An injury default occurs during a match and counts as a loss for the defaulting wrestler (eg Austin DeSanto vs RBY).

    I wonder what Randy Lewis’ opinion on this is? He battled like an effing warrior to 7th place his senior year with use of one arm. And it gets talked about over 40 years later with admiration.

    Even at Iowa you have Lincoln Mac and Banach as 3Xers and 4X finalist. Brands and Zalesky had higher AAs the year they didn’t win. I say Barry Davis at 7,1,1,1 and 150 wins is up there too.
