  1. They have. Myles Amine has 30 (5-1, 5-1, 5-2, 4-1, 5-1) in 5.
  2. A single tournament. Didn't realize you meant 4 (now 5). I'll have to look. 5*
  3. 18 have wrestled 9. 8-1, 7-2, 6-3 records among them.
  4. That would be the other one. Figured you'd have the answers.
  5. That's 1! He was the 4 seed and lost to Corey Wallman (Wisconsin) in the first round. He came back to place 3rd with 8 straight wins including a consi pigtail. He beat the 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8 seeds along the way.
  6. Emery got 6 & 7 wins. Got to 7. 7 as well. Pell got to 6. Rocky has had 5, 5, & 6.
  7. Not quite. He has tournaments of 1, 4, 6, & 7 wins.
  8. Everyone loves some trivia! To give this board a little different topic of discussion I'll post a new trivia question every day in this thread. The most matches won in a single NCAA tournament is 8. Name the wrestlers who have done this.
  9. I'll be there the 12th-25th. Went last year too. Love the city. I was quite surprised at how many parks there were. Kalemegdan was great. A lot of stuff going on around there. Tesla museum was sweet. Old Belgrade has a lot of great walking/exploring. If you are a soccer fan both Red Star and Partizan both have good teams and it's a very different atmosphere than MLS. Tickets are also super cheap. I stayed at the very very top of western city gate, you'll know it when you go into belgrade from the airport, which had an amazing view of the city. I would stop at Mandarina Cake Shop everyday on the way to the arena. They had delicious desserts, sandwiches, and breakfast.
  10. Email Morgan Benham (mbenham@usawrestling.org) with USA Wrestling. They cost $70 per session. Not sure if that is more than at the door.
  11. Everyone loves to talk about Mark's losing record when entering NCAA's and then winning it. But, in my research I discovered another national champ (NAIA) that entered with a losing record... Thurman Landers of Central Washington: "As a junior in 1970, Landers delivered the shocker of the national tournament, winning the 142-pound title as an unseeded entry who came in with a 4-9 record. He won five straight matches and topped the unlikely run with a 6-5 decision in the final, a victory that was secured with an escape in the final seconds." I'd bet there are others out there. Anyone know of worse than 4-9?
  12. Istanbul or Budapest? Still the rumored options? Hoping for Istanbul as I've never been.
