  1. There are two other Gioffre’s in the portal, both of Virginia. Are they related to Logan?
  2. Pretty sure it’s just a typo. I mean I hope that’s the case.
  3. I would say KOT would be huge in the room for guys like Rath, Bambinelli and Heiser to continue developing. Obviously others as well but those guys are in his weight range.
  4. I was not aware he was no longer around. Never made sense to me to have to bigger coaches and Maple alone in the lower weights.
  5. I would like for KOT to be on staff. I believe it would be good for both parties. KOT gets paid to stay, train and help coach. Mizzou gets a middle weight that can help the roster. We have Maple, Todd and Bradley currently.
  6. The unintentional announcement was that Askren will be wrestling in some sort of pro league sometime soon. Pyles went on to say jokingly that he wasn’t sure KOT was supposed to say that yet. It was during the time Pyles mentioned Bader is wrestling in a masters division this week. So KOT accidentally let it slip. Anyone have any info on this new league that’s happening?
  7. Didn’t they have a recent visit at tOSU?
  8. Was Jacobi not eligible last year? Might have been a better option than Stoner/Nitzel. He used a RS at NIU, so maybe he just didn’t wrestle at all to avoid using a year. Does that seem likely?
  9. When did Jacobi get on campus? Didn’t know he even left NIU. Also according to Mizzou’s ‘25 roster and it may be incorrect, Nitzel is no longer listed along with several others. Crapps is listed but he’s in the portal.
  10. He didn’t expand on that part as to which type of certificate. I do know certificates are earned as part of taking classes, but are not degrees. Like a plumber or roofer can take certain or a group of classes needed to get certificates that allows them work and show they are board certified. Not trying to downplay it, but for an athlete it’s just a means of staying eligible. Checking the box. Yes they are attending class, maintaining GPA etc.
  11. Very well could be the case.
  12. From today going forward Oklahoma State shall be know as Penn State Midwest or PSMW
  13. He’s doing both 86 & 92. Juniors and Seniors. So 184 isn’t out of the question.
  14. In his interview with Bash he said he has graduated, will obtain a certificate from ISU and wants to get his Masters from Mizzou. Something in coaching he said Mizzou had started, forget the name of the program
  15. I’d guess Michigan for Rocky. Could be Iowa, If Bob comes along.
  16. So the likelihood of it being true are pretty good?
  17. I know there has been a lot of speculation that he could commit looks like it happened.
  18. Believe both(one for sure) was committed to Mizzou, before Clemson got the Maryland Job. Could he be on his way back home?
  19. No discredit to Carson, but KOT was injured the match prior to Carson. Ankle I believe. KOT won 4-0. 2023 KOT second title he beat Carson via tech 19-4. Unsure the health of Carson that year. Personally I’ve enjoyed watching Carson wrestle. Lots of points when he’s on.
  20. I would be really surprised if either Hawks or Sinclair got down to 174. Sinclair more so. He’s stated many times he doesn’t like to cut weight. Could he make it, possibly, but it’s probably not in the cards. We have both Dom Bambinelli and Danny Heiser coming in at or around 165-174. Who starts is still up in the air, could be a couple guys in rotation. Hawks at 197 is more seeable than 174.
  21. Incoming recruit Gerald “boogie” Harris. They all went to Collinsville High and trained at Threestyle together.
  22. He would be also, but Ben’s last two years would’ve earned him a huge bag of cash.
