Actually you're about 3 guys away. Penn State beat Nebraska by 60 team points. A national champ scoring lots of bonus is good for about 24 team points, so you'll need at least 3 guys (2 of which need to be Hodge contender level guys) to make up those 60 points.

Wick beat him 10-4 and 16-3 David McFadden pinned him Valencia pinned him IMAR beat him 5-2 and 14-5 Massa beat him 6-3 He had 9 other losses that were closer too.

This is my own wishful thinking. I think Trumble has a year left and is the highest placing HWT who returns next year. Apparently the NC State guys are not happy about their NIL support. Trumble could be a 1 year starter for Penn State at HWT while Mirasola bulks up. Apparently Mirasola is only about 215 pounds right now... Trumble could go to Penn State, win a team title and an individual title for himself, all while making some NIL bucks. Sounds like a win-win to me!

I don't think Arnold could take Starocci down. I see it being a 7-1 victory for Starocci.

Interesting that Marinelli claims that he never lost to anyone; he only beat himself. I can recall quite a few matches where the other wrestler thoroughly beat Marinelli.

As much as everyone seems to hate his wrestling style... I think this should go to Beau Bartlett. Last year he was a micron away from being a NCAA champ but lost to Mendez and he still walked off the mat smiling and head held high. Mendez beats him again this year OT (just barely) after Bartlett beat him twice in the regular season and Big 10s. Bartlett fights back to finish 3rd. Finishes his career never a champ, and wrestled up a weight for his team for two seasons. Guy always has a smile on his face and never says anything negative. Great attitude, great sportsman....someone to be admired.
