  1. https://www.americanbar.org/news/abanews/aba-news-archives/2019/03/mueller-concludes-investigation/ https://www.npr.org/2019/03/24/706385781/mueller-report-finds-evidence-of-russian-collusion https://www.politico.com/story/2019/03/24/breaking-news-barr-to-release-summary-of-mueller-report-1233771 “The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” the special counsel wrote in his findings, which Attorney General William Barr released on Sunday in four-page summary form. Now from the Mueller report itself: Starting in June 2016, the IRA contacted different U.S. persons affiliated with the Trump Campaign in an effort to coordinate pro-Trump IRA-organized rallies inside the United States. In all cases, the IRA contacted the Campaign while claiming to be U.S. political activists working on behalf of a conservative grassroots organization. The IRA’s contacts included requests for signs and other materials to use at rallies,107 as well as requests to promote the rallies and help coordinate logistics.108 While certain campaign volunteers agreed to provide the requested support (for example, agreeing to set aside a number of signs), the investigation has not identified evidence that any Trump Campaign official understood the requests were coming from foreign nationals. Although members of the IRA had contact with individuals affiliated with the Trump Campaign, the indictment does not charge any Trump Campaign official or any other U.S. person with participating in the conspiracy. That is because the investigation did not identify evidence that any U.S. person who coordinated or communicated with the IRA knew that he or she was speaking with Russian nationals engaged in the criminal conspiracy. I would think that the plain language would be sufficient for you but I am guessing that is a naive thought. mspart
  2. Perhaps basic math and science skills would help with understanding the accounting and economics? Just saying. mspart
  3. Probably not wrong! Especially since I mistakenly thought he won Zagreb (ranking series) rather than Henri Deglane (not ranking series). mspart
  4. Which is why the question persists - Why did they allow it to fly all the way across the USA? China maybe got what they wanted by that inaction. It should have been brought down much sooner in my opinion, like when it was found over Alaska. mspart
  5. Well, apparently that is correct. Trump got one while in office and it was not deserved. Do you agree with that? Mueller said there was no collusion. The whole Mueller thing was a waste of time. We now know that all of that info from the Steele dossier was fictional and yet it was used to get warrants from FISA to spy on Trump's folks. And it was known to be untruthful, yet presented as wonderful evidence to FISA court. Do you agree with this? You should because FBI has admitted as much. https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged/ mspart
  6. I prefer a system that is more responsive to the timing of an issue that comes up. A single payer system will not do that because that is how they keep costs (and therefore taxes) down. Single Payer system has as its incentive to drive costs down, meaning procedures are down, doctor visits are down, specialist visits are down. Does that sound like a properly run system to you? Not to me. Is that serving the person that is not healthy? No. Now I admit that folks in the USA eat terribly, treat their bodies horribly, and pay the price in longevity. But in general, when we need to see a doctor, we can without much delay. Of course if you have insurance or are rich. Those with no insurance wait for sure. But with Obamacare, that is all fixed right? mspart
  7. I'd say points 2-4 are completely valid. Point 1, I'm not sure about. In between wellness visits you could get covid, or flu, or pneumonia, etc. You might need hospitalization and/or perhaps a grave site. I would agree with Point 1 to a point. But it is very hard to predict the future. And it is expensive enough to go to the Doctor that most people will wait until quite sick. mspart
  8. Hello there Plasi, Single payer systems are not that great. Canada for instance. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2022 From referral by a general practitioner to consultation with a specialist. The waiting time in this segment increased from 11.1 weeks in 2021 to 12.6 weeks in 2022. This wait time is 242% longer than in 1993, when it was 3.7 weeks. The shortest waits for specialist consultations are in Ontario (10.1 weeks) while the longest occur in Prince Edward Island (41.7 weeks). From the consultation with a specialist to the point at which the patient receives treatment. The waiting time in this segment increased from 14.5 weeks in 2021 to 14.8 weeks this year. This wait time is 164% longer than in 1993 when it was 5.6 weeks, and 6.7 weeks longer than what physicians consider to be clinically “reasonable” (8.1 weeks). The shortest specialist-to-treatment waits are found in Ontario (10.2 weeks), while the longest are in Manitoba (25.4 weeks). Your point about it being cheaper is because they have made it impossible to get anything done in a timely manner. You either expire, you go to USA, or you just forget about it, or you wait a long time. None of which is a selling point if you are the person with those options. mspart

  10. He's lying!! Ha mspart
  11. Yeah, how'd that happen? mspart
  12. He's working on it!! mspart
  13. I was pretty fast on the ropes. After we moved to MN, we had a school night for my son's grade and they showed us what was happening with PE. The ropes were down and all the young dads wanted to see if they could still do it. I was not as fast as before but held my own. Couldn't do well now I think. mspart
  14. Yes that was an issue that most would rather forget. But handing firearms to the cartels for their use in killing border patrol agents just doesn't pass the smell test of this being a good idea. And perhaps an illegal idea. Did they go through all the Mexican controls for obtaining firearms? If not, the perhaps it should be looked into. mspart
  15. My son wants to be the benevolent dictator of the world. So I understand the idea!! mspart
  16. I always did extra pushups figuring it would help me. I never viewed them as a punishment. I loved climbing the ropes too. mspart
  17. Yeah, Nashon took care of ADS at will really. But ADS hung in there and didn't let it get to a Tech fall and ended up winning. That was completely a loss of concentration on Nashon's part. You can be fatigued and keep focus. Or you can be fatigued and lose focus. I think he allowed the latter to happen. That said, kudos to ADS for persevering and taking care of business. mspart
  18. That might work. Needs a little more power than the bow can give but the right idea. Maybe have Tom Cruise shoot one of those on a fly by!! mspart
  19. Brands will go when Brands decides it is time to go. mspart
  20. Gutches vs Ruth. This might be a a great matchup. Ruth didn't have much in the way of international honors. Gutches was 1996 Olympian and took 7th, and was on the world Team every year after winning WC 1997, 7th in 1998, and won bronze in 1999. 2000 he won a match with a horrible back injury but lost the other two in the OTTs. With his back injury, he might not have done well in Sydney, but his replacment, Charles Burton, wasted an opportunity for Bronze. If Gutches could have gotten enough cold spray on his back, he might have been able to do it. Ed Ruth I don't think did much on the international stage. 3 time NCAA champion went the MMA route and was middlin' there. This would be really fun to see. I have to say, you can probably guess that I think Gutches would win. mspart
  21. He needs bionic knees. They worked for Lee Majors. mspart
  22. He still looks like a brute. I don't know about Banach but I tend to agree with you. mspart
  23. Ferrari won't be able to handle the pressure of having to tow the line. mspart
  24. Schultz and Banach - today. Who wins? mspart
