  1. She would have looked better with the TW900's!!! mspart
  2. I agree there needs to be some regulation. But once the regulation is set, that is when the regulators start thinking they need to regulate more stuff. So they go from an 8 gage wire needs a .1 inch thick insulation to an 8 gage wire needs 1 inch thick insulation because that is safer, and then they go to an 8 gage wire needs a 2 inch thick insulation that is purple to easily distinguish it from the 6 or the 10 gage wires and everyone knows 2 inch thick insulation is much much safer than 1 inch thick insulation. Then they think the 8 gage wire should be fluted on the ends which does nothing for safety and makes it harder to terminate but is easier to manufacture. And on and on and on and on. The original spec was safe and did what it needed to do. The rest is not necessary. Obviously this is a ludicrous example but you can see that there is a level at which the regulation makes sense and then where it starts to not make sense. Best to leave things where they make sense. mspart
  3. I think Le duke just doesn't like anyone named Seymour. Or he is an anti-semite. Or he is just clueless and you just edumacated him. mspart
  4. And this has what to do with my point? You made a stupid statement, I called you on it, and this is the response? Weak. mspart
  5. Perhaps you should act on that feeling. mspart
  6. I said nothing about a nonpartisan response. I notice you are again dodging my response to yours. The whitehouse.gov site listed a bunch of lies that do not pertain to the here and now. That is what I addressed and you cited this as refutation. So like I said, Nice try. Not fooling anyone. mspart
  7. Nice try Mike. Quote: For years, Republican Members of Congress have repeatedly tried to cut Medicare and Social Security, move toward privatizing one or both programs, and raise the Social Security retirement age and Medicare eligibility age. I didn't ask about the past, I asked about now. What R is proposing cutting SS or medicare other than Rick Scott, who does not make up the whole R party and got roundly criticized for his proposal by the Rs? Please find and provide that. I could easily also say, "for years Biden wanted to cut SS." But that was many years ago and he no longer is trying to do that. That is just as disingenous as what the White House is lying about. mspart
  8. This. mspart
  9. It would be a shame to penalize athletes for the leader's conduct. But that is what they do. mspart
  10. Not sure what you are trying to say here. Using legs is against the rules in Greco. You are penalized for doing so. That might be why they don't "need legs" to get a takedown, using legs is against the rules! mspart
  11. They didn't last time we won or lost in SEA. But times have changed. It might happen here if we ever get there again. mspart
  12. AMC and GME. Those are the investments for you. mspart
  13. Interesting. The GR guys were successful. But then so was Schultz for one match, and Cejudo was quite accomplished as was Rosholt, Cormier, Woodley, Lesnar, and Askren (in MMA not UFC). MMA, you have to get to the legs to take down. I don't see where GR technique in TD is used at all. There could be some throws but usually legs are involved, but not near as often as striking or full on takedown. Just my two cents. mspart
  14. Not a fan of the ads. mspart
  15. Great first move. But didn't finish it well and lost on his back a little later. Kid from Wisconsin was tough, no doubt. mspart
  16. I feel bad for Jalen who lost the game for the Eagles. He did so well all season and got them to the Super Bowl and threw a forward pass the wrong direction that was run in for an unopposed TD. If not for that, Eagles win. But Eagles did not win. Kudos to the Chiefs - It was a great game either way. mspart
  17. They still have fun. Cael told everyone to shut up about it so everyone else doesn't feel so bad. mspart
  18. That is impressive. Beats himself in the finals with a 18-2 Tech. mspart
  19. I haven't read this thread yet but just had to add that if your predictions will likely change after Big 10s, then what good are these? mspart
  20. Yeah, the foot sweep was there but they were doing GR. Footsweeps are always there. mspart
  21. In the parlance of DC, a freeze is the same as a cut. When Ds want to complain that Rs are cutting the budget, when in reality they want to cut the size of the growth. Freezing is even worse. I don't pay for that site and it is open to me. So I think you can see it just fine if you try. It is humorous that Biden that with such conviction, then squeezes his face in real time(knowing full well his own words) and shovels all that word vomit onto Mike Lee. mspart
  22. That would be a nice change. Actually I took my dad to US Nationals a few times from 2000-2005 or so. It was a fun time. I wrestled in the Veterans a few times. It was a kick. I found out those old slow guys were just as fast as me, maybe faster. Ah how our minds plays tricks with us!! mspart
  23. You want me to hold Lee to account? Then you must hold Biden to account when he said in 1995 that SS and Medicare have to be pared down and claim that is still his postion. https://theintercept.com/2020/01/13/biden-cuts-social-security/ Dude - Fair is fair. Yes, sadly. This is the truth. There is no SS bank account or lock box. The money that SS recipients get comes from the general budget of the USA. So all of the money that was supposed to be separated into a SS "lockbox" has been squandered. They might as well not have a FICA (or whatever it is today) tax. It all goes into the general budget and gets spent. What isn't given to SS recipients gets spent on studying if transgender top or bottom surgery on kids is detrimental to them or not. Or some other silliness. It is a corrupt system. I don't know of a study done that would show what SS would be if they hadn't raided the "lockbox". I'm sure it would be in quite a bit better shape than it is right now. The lock box is full of IOUs. With deficit spending now the rule rather than the exception, that gives me great hope for the longevity of the program. The fact that child bearing has greatly decreased also gives me great hope for the longevity of the program. You must be able to see that doing nothing is really not an option. Something will have to be done at some point to keep SS going. And that will be curtailing payments and/or raising the age when you can start to collect. One or the other will have to come into play. If you disagree, please provide a logical analysis of why you disagree. mspart
