Killing human shields is a war crime. You can't just bomb civilian housing and shelter because you think Hamas *might* be there too.

You're describing more war crimes. You are not allowed by collectively punish. We signed the Geneva Conventions. You don't get to be pro-war crimes and maintain the moral high ground on here

I can admit it was a cheap shot. I can't edit the post. But those two have repeatedly accused me and others of "supporting Hamas" in this thread. I gave them a taste of their own medicine and they don't like it.

You've shown no concern for innocent Palestinian deaths. Israel has already killed far more Palestinians than Israeli's were killed on 10/7. How many need to die before you think it's enough? Give me a number. I would say this to your face btw.

@Bigbrog and @Offthemat are using Bin Laden's justification for 9/11. There is no such thing as an innocent US civilian. There is no such thing as an innocent Palestinian.

There is no limit on charitable giving or distribution. Giving is at an all time high and Americans are more charitable than their peer nations. Yet...it's not working. Your contention is that if the government stopped helping altogether, charity would suddenly start accomplishing what it isn't accomplishing right now?

Charitable giving has never been higher and yet we perform worse than our peer nations who have higher taxes and universal programs. Maybe they're doing it the right way after all? Maybe trusting millions of isolated individuals to distribute resources rationally with no planning or cooperation isn't the most efficient way to do things? Plus, most charities are scams and tax write-offs for rich people.
