  1. Does, or does not, a law already exist on the books to do just that?
  2. You should demand to see the manager
  3. From the NYTimes articel posted: "Many Democrats argued that the measure could actually harm immigrants who are victims of domestic crimes. There is no exception for people who fight back in self-defense against their abusers, or have been accused by their abusers of violence themselves, as there is in current statute. Several domestic violence victims advocacy groups have also opposed the legislation on those grounds." That combined with the fact that there is already a very similar law on the books (with a narrower definition of domestic violence) suggests the issue is one of definitions. That makes a whole lot more sense than every single Dem blah, blah, blah Outrage. blah, blah, blah. And by the way, every single Dem did not vote against the measure. 61 voted for. But Outrage is more fun than facts.
  4. But what if I told you it was 90 minutes (ninety, 9-0, one hour plus a whole other half of one hour) long?
  5. If I were to order the outcomes from most likely to least likely I would go: PSU 3 - Neb 2 = ~40% PSU 4 - Neb 1 = ~35% PSU 5 - Neb 0 = ~20% PSU 2 - Neb 3 = ~4% PSU 1 - Neb 4 = ~1% PSU 0 - Neb 5 = ~0.1% So, I'm sayin' there's a chance.
  6. No doubt. 125 - Smith has a higher rank than Lilledahl and 125 tends to be pretty chaotic during the season. Smith is slightly (?) favored at home 133 - Davis has to be the favorite over the 5 loss Van Dee, but... 141 - Hardy v Bartlett #6 v #3 feels likely a one TD match. Depends on who gets the one 149 - Lovett v Van Ness #4 vs #2 has to be the most anticipated of the 5. Expect more scoring here. And while Lovett's only lose this year is in SV to the defending champ, he did get smoked by Kasak last year. 157 - Taylor v Kasak #5 v #3 another two spot gap. Certainly could go either way, though Kasak is favored. I am going to say PSU takes 3 of 5, but 5-0 Nebraska is remotely possible.
  7. Disappointment is my stock in trade
  8. Comes out one week from today Jan 23: First Top 33 Coaches' Ranking Feb 13: Second Top 33 Coaches' Ranking and first RPI (15 match minimum to be ranked in RPI) Feb 27: Third Top 33 Coaches' Ranking and 2nd RPI; Conference allocations for each weight released. 9. Self awareness is not his strong point.
  10. He does like to argue. It was starting to feel like if I said up he would reflexively say down.
  11. My favorite line from one of my favorite movies.
  12. It is the same attitude as Bo. Askren went to the tournaments because he thought the guys sucked. I do not know why you fail to grasp that. If you do not like Bo implying it, you will not like Askren implying it. I said implying because the exact words Bo used was "this kid from Illinois who is not very good, but was real squirrelly". The guy finished his career 40-56. I would say Bo was accurate and gentle.
  13. They were everywhere, as is evidenced by the fact that you know about them. What does that have to do with Pete Hegseth?
  14. Is he an alcoholic? Many who know him have said yes. And was he ever charged and convicted of sexual assault? I said accused. If the only complaint about Pete Hegseth was that he cheats on his wife, it would not be a contentious hearing.
  15. A drunk, an unfaithful husband, and a man accused of sexual assault walk into a bar. The bartender says, "Table for one, Mr. Hegseth?"
  16. He has bragged about entering open tournaments where he knew he would catch second and third string wrestlers so that he could fatten up his pinfall totals. He was very obsessed with getting the Hodge. He even jokes that Cael Sanderson only won two, just like him, because the third was only a tie.
