  1. You should review my posts on 100%ers. But I can understand why people might think the logic would not apply in the other direction. Arguably the freshman year title is the hardest to attain. I am not convinced of that while I am also not convinced it is wrong.
  2. Because you cannot know what any other four timer would do in year five. Presumably someone who has never lost a title would not lose the fifth bite at the apple. Of course, we are assuming the same for Starocci here, so why not the others?
  3. No one serious takes 5 seriously.
  4. Just say you hate him for being an arrogant braggart and quit pretending he was the problem in the match with Ferrari. Try being honest with yourself.
  5. It sounds jealous.
  6. I don't think he belongs in the top four all-time, but to call him cstall is just plain dumb.
  7. I wonder why he couldn't score any points against that?
  8. Yianni Diakomihalis is one of only two three time Hodge finalist to not win. In 2019 Diakomihalis finished fourth behind just two other wrestlers (huh?). Bo Nickal got 37 first place votes, Jason Nolf got 10 first place votes, Nolf/Nickal got 4 first place votes and Diakomihalis and Anthony Ashnault got the other two (not sure who got them or if they were one each). In 2022 Diakomihalis finished second behind Gable Steveson, finishing with 5 first place votes to Steveson's 49. In 2023 Diakomihalis (6 first place votes) finished third behind Mason Parris (33), and Carter Starocci (14). If Starocci is a finalist this year and does not win he will be the only four time finalist to never win (also the only four time finalist). He finished T-4th, 2nd, 3rd in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

If Arnold takes the mat I am more confident in a Plott win. If Brands goes instead of Kennedy, I think it tightens it up but I still have Hamiti by a hair. On the other side, I am least confident (though still pretty confident) in Caliendo over Amine. I can talk myself in to a plodding Amine win in SV or ride outs if I had to.
  10. Gonna be one hell of a party
  11. If Pyle stands with me, who can stand against me?
  12. I loved it when he said, "he is out there competing like a champion".
  13. I think it is a safe bet we do not see all 10 PSU starters for this one.
  14. Call me crazy, but I am going to guess the Hodge is not on his mind when he is wrestling.
  15. Nice. When I went I wore Penn State gear and got some friendly needling from Iowa fans. But the absolute best was when a kid around 9 or 10 years old saw me and got a complete look of disgust on his face.
  16. He is just saying Ferrari's extreme volatility makes outlier results more likely. I am not sure the two scenarios he chose are the most likely outcomes, but I do think they are more likely for Ferrari than for anyone else.
  17. I will ALWAYS take the under on 60.
  18. Amen. No one gets better at wrestling by not wrestling.
  19. You are in for a treat. I have gone to CHA twice for PSU duals and the atmosphere was electric. Be sure to wear you Oklahoma State gear for the full experience.
  20. It wasn't an and, it was an or.
