Interesting that we can hear the same thing differently. Having never wrestled and literally knowing nothing about it, I very much appreciate the coaching. For me it is not over.

I think they are excellent. Burroughs and Taylor are similar in style and demeanor. Smith is unique.

It was less about the inside scoop and more about an encyclopedic knowledge of positions, what to do with them, and how to explain them. For example, in the D2/D3 match he was "coaching" the wrestlers through the positions (i.e. telling us what they needed to do to score). And when they failed to do what he was advising he did not turn critical. He also explained these things well and clearly while letting CP run the show.

From 1976 to 1992 there was criteria to determine the winner of overtime bouts ending in a tie score, but I have no idea what the criteria were. Perhaps the last was a coin flip.

Period 2 GK down. And out quick. 12-1 Low double for GK and he over powers WH. 15-1 WH escapes. 15-2 GK hunting the TF goes low double again and converts. 18-2. TF

285 Kerkvliet v Hendrickson Period 1 DT marveling at the builds on these two and their athleticism GK big boy over powers WH on a single and folds him like a chair to his back. Can't quite get the pinfall. Injury stoppage for WH as he checks his neck. Four near fall to go with the TD makes it 7-0 just like that. GK takes down on restart. Reaches back for the leg and stands right up 8-0. GK with the lightning TD and turk. Now just riding. GH escapes with 2 seconds. Period ends 11-1 GK

Brooks looked unbothered by anything Sloan tried. Very dominant.

Period 2 AB down. And out 4-0 AB Back to collar ties. AB same shot in deep and finishes. 7-0. AB riding hard but TS' length is tough, and he escapes. 7-1 AB back in TS whizzer, but AB defeats it. 10-1. DT crediting Sanderson's coaching. TS out quick. 10-2. AB digging underhooks now. TS defending. Under a minute. TS cautious shot. Not close. AB shoots single leg. TS deends well and reattacks, but time runs out. 11-2 final for Brooks.

197 Brooks v Sloan Period 1 Both start heavy on the head. Feeling each other out. No committed shots. AB swims to the left leg, switches to two and gets the three. AB rides out the period. Ends 3-0 AB.

Period 3 PK riding. BT out quickly. 4-2 BT. PK again on the leg. Again shelved. Again OB. PK driving BT and earns the stall. 4-3 BT. PK wants it and forces another stall. 4-4. PK on both legs at the edge. Gets the TD with a toe just in. 7-4 PK. PSU challenges. Doesn't look good for BT. Locked hands gets BT a point. 7-5 final Keckeisen.
