  1. If Mark Hall verbals in the woods and no one hears it, does he make a sound?
  2. This belongs in the separated at birth thread.
  3. He could. But I go back to my prior statement about having a live event on Flo to announce that he picked Penn State OVER his other finalists, including Minnesota, Ohio State, Arizona State, and Wisconsin. You don't have five finalists if you have already committed to one school. It is clear that he had not committed at that point. Had he already committed the Flo event would have been to announce his change of mind.
  4. You will notice I did not include him in my list.
  5. First question. Yes. Second question. A couple of reasons. Hall announced live on Flo that he was verbally committing to PSU. You do not have a live announcement on Flo if you have already committed elsewhere. And the article he posted talked about J Robinson calling out Hall for choosing to go to the Olympic training center and for committing to PSU.
  6. An ass like someone who makes up stuff about other people? That kind of ass?
  7. I have no doubt there are sleazy practices, but hiring a clearly qualified coach who has a top rated son is opportuniistic, not sleazy. If Nate Carr was not qualified I would feel differently. The Hall claim was just flat out stupid. And I do not know what to make of recruiting with regard to Kerkvliet given the number of times he flipped and flopped. People are happy to talk about theories, rumors, and their personal grudges like they are fact. You, for example, were willing to accept @headshuck's clearly made up claims at face value.
  8. Your article literally says the opposite. He used J Robinson's criticism as motivation. Minnesota was clearly never his dream team.
  9. I can't find anything that says Hall ever committed to Minnesota. The only thing I found said he announced his choice of PSU over Minnesota, Ohio State, ASU, and Wisconsin live on Flo.
  10. I don't recall any of Hall's, Nolf's, or Kerkvliet's fathers coaching at PSU. Did I miss something?
  11. There was last time.
  12. I think you are playing a little fast and loose. Which taxes? The federal income tax rate has been unchanged since Trump cut most marginal rates in 2018. Prior to that Obama had added a 7th tax bracket to the existing 6 in 2013, but that only impacts the top ~1% of earners (not assets). And prior to that Bush phased in a tax cut over three years. On the capital gains side, Reagan increased the LT gain tax in the late 80's before Clinton decreased them in 97.
  13. That is a pretty funny oops. Click on the "Suggest an Edit" button. I have done this and they are very responsive. That is how the Wade Schalles bio got fixed.
  14. You are all over the place. First it was about freedom of speech for you in spite of the fact that I did or said nothing to impinge on his freedom and I do not represent the government, then it was about irony, and now it is about hypocrisy. When you have too many points, you have no point.
  15. These debates are always so dumb. My calling @lisa morales a piece of shit, in no way impinges on his free speech, never mind that I am not the government so the concept of protected speech does not even apply.
  16. We both know you are just pretending to struggle with this.
  17. Why not? What does free speech have to do with my emotions? Its not like I am arguing the state should take money away from him.
  18. It wasn't up to USAW. They don't own the rights to the OTT to sell. The Olympic Committes own the rights and they sold everything, Olympics included, to NBC.
  19. The Bubonic Plague tried to get into the Penn State wrestling room once. Once. But it was met with this steely gaze.... And realized it had no plan.
  20. That makes sense to me. I did not word my question well, which led to some confusion. But also my assumption wrong. I assumed that Lee would be the #1 seed among those not receiving a pass to the semi, and either Diakomihalis or McKenna would be the #2 seed within that group. But treating everyone but Retherford as a group is the wrong way to think about it. Retherford as the #3 seed with a pass to the semis is, I think, the right way to think about it.
  21. When you start making excuses for a group you favor based on logistics, you really do not have an argument at all.
