  5. Oh wow, "pinfallery/Pinfellery"...."nearpinfallery/nearpinfellery"......"specified"....you mean like pin or fall? I suppose we should go back to "catch as catch can" as is termed above.
  6. Cliff Keen Athletics would love that!
  7. Looks like the "coast is clear" D3.
  8. I few of my best memories of Midlands include....Owings getting beat by Clyde Smith to eliminate the rematch of Owings vs. Gable in 1970, Jimmy Carr vs. Don Behm in the finals...Behm RD. , watching Cary Kolat take 3rd as a high school junior if I'm not mistaken, watching, Ben and John Peterson, Gable, Hellickson, Schalles, Chris Taylor, how about the Gibbons vs. Lewis match which was a prelude to the rematch where Randy got hurt so bad, a young John Fisher tech falling Olympic Silver medalist Barry Davis in an early round. I just looked at some older brackets, and many weights had 3-4 eventual NCAA Champions in it. Those were some special years at the Midlands. Here is a link to past brackets for your viewing enjoyment.....you'll probably have to zoom in on each bracket and the weights are out of order in all of them. https://nusports.com/sports/2015/6/26/MIDLANDS_0626155320
  9. Also note that at the World Championships it's designated as VFA not VPFA.....
  10. and imagine having to say 2,3 or 4 points "pinfall"!! (This was taken from an NCAA rules book by the way.
  11. As you already know, it is worth more. Fadz
  12. So who did @MedicineMan photoshop in on the left? A young Jason Bryant!!!
  13. "pinfall".....is that the same as 2 pins or 2 falls????
  14. I agree!!!
  15. I see what you are saying, but it was just gum! Would look better without the gum, but I originally watched it and didn't think anything of it. I had to watch it again to see what you were talking about. He just got off "work" from a few long days, and more work to do when he leaves the arena. It look's like he got caught right after the competition for the interview. It wasn't like he had time to prepare for a sitdown press conference. Just sayin'!!!! (Always loved to watch Michael Jordan press conferences....showered, dressed to kill in a great suit, and of course he was articulate)
  16. Wow....Matt Gentry and Jason Tsirtsis is a good staff.
  17. I'm enterrtaining an early Thanksgiving today, so I can't check right now...I have an article on Randy Lewis and how many times he beat ncaa, world, and olympic champions. Lewis could be in the running here.....If no one finds the answer, stay tuned, I may be able to dig it up later. Fadz
  18. Bummer.....Casey is a good one.....tough customer!
  19. That was my 15th NCAA so I had watched "March Madness" during many breaks before that. You know, 1994 was at the Dean Dome, home of Michael Jordan, and I'm curious, did it say Matness or Madness.....asking for a friend....lol.
  20. `Thanks.....I appreciate that!!!
  21. LOL.......how about B1G8 .....if this comes to fruition I'll be ticked......I remember years ago during one of the 45 NCAA's I've attended, I got ticked because every TV had March Madness on, and I told my buddies.....the heck with basketball.....we are here for March Matness, and a few years later you saw it in the media.
  22. the G is supposed to be like "0" as in 10 B10 B1G
