I never saw Haines or Kerk as likely to win, and neither came close. Penn State also had things go in their favor with brackets falling apart and Labriola throwing himself to his back, but they still didn't break their own team record, let alone the tournament record.

No, it wasn't threatening, I never felt nervous they were going to break it, and returning champs placing lower is a thing that happens at the tournament.

Hey all. The payouts were never formalized in writing. Originally I had thought $250 to the champ and $70 to second, and that's it. It was suggested we pay out to third, and go something like $200, $80, $40. I had planned to do that, but then realized I never wrote it, and...well now I would benefit, so that feels wrong to unilaterally do. He pretty clearly wanted it, or he wouldn't have gone 125. I think that's an easier match up for Lee than Ramos (as I've stated previously),but it doesn't matter, that's how it goes. Glory is the rightful champ.
