Jordan Oliver begging several times for a push out is painful to see.

Was rooting against him mostly because I don't want to listen to him speak for 5 minutes to share a 30 second thought

Edit: pathetic display

that was awful--- awful officiating so far--- not cleaning up the blood in the first match--- there was no challenge how do you change the score after the match--- awful---

I kind of get the rationale for axing challenges in the interest of keeping the action flowing but the display of confusion over the score, both on the part of the competitors and the commentators is not a good look

I have been told that Fox News cares deeply about stop the steal and draining the swamp, so I assume no corruption. Thank you for your attention!

I've been watching some old school WWF interviews lately and Jim Ross, Bobby "The Brain", etc. keep talking about how Bischoff was the reason WCW failed because of his lack of business sense, marketing know-how, etc. It's weird that I just watched all that and then see this tonight.

1) Fox Nation is not the platform. Three times (if not more) the stream cut off during pivotal moments. During the Wick match and during the KOT match (as I remember). Not good.

2) I understand the strategy to include MMA fighters to draw the audience...and I loved Uriah Faber/CCC during their earlier days...but putting not-so-in-shape retired fighters on a wrestling mat doesn't bode well for wrestling. It's almost like a gimmick/WWE-type show they're trying to put on vs. actually respecting and showcasing the sport of freestyle wrestling. And I pray they don't put CCC against Bo Bassett in any RAF...it will completely tarnish the wrestling legacy and Oly Championship era of Cejudo. He's 30-40 pounds over the weight he won gold at and if he wrestles like he did tonight, Bo will tech him in less than a minute. I truly hope they don't let that happen (and that Cejudo can check his ego and realize he's not the guy anymore that won Oly gold).

3) I think the brick should be an option, but Oliver's actions weren't something that should happen on this (professional) stage. They also need better ref's that know the latest rules, it seems. I know JO's spent his whole life in this and doesn't want to be cheated...I get it. But he also needs to realize there are a lot of people watching that don't understand wrestling. And if we want the sport to become more mainstream, you have to be a professional...when it looks like you're throwing a fit to a non-average wrestling fan, they don't get it and frankly probably don't want to see that. Have to be better and understand that you're in front of an audience that we're trying to get involved and who doesn't give a sh*t about the push out rule.

4) The fight. What a bad look. It's so crazy to see certain wrestlers (KOT, David Carr, etc.) and their calm demeanor, but who are still great competitors. And then there are the "mature" guys, like Yoel and Bubba, who were once hot headed (Bubba), but as they got older, realized that you can have fun wrestling without having an ego and being a d*ck. Look at the respect that Merab and Cejudo had for each other, even though they put on a show like they were about to go at it. There was never any danger there. That's what professionalism looks like.

But then you have these guys that have no constraint and let their emotions take over. We've all been there and lost our head, but as an adult and in a professional organization, you have to be able to control yourself. Instead of breaking up what happened and separating Tsarukyan and Georgio, you have all these animals jumping in, throwing punches, and turning it into a melee like it's Khabib vs. McGregor. This can't happen again, and I hope they can recover from this as far as new fans not perceiving this as MMA (don't get me wrong, I love MMA...but I also know the difference between that and true amateur wrestling). In my opinion, this was a huge disrespect to the sport and a terrible thing for kids to see.

I hope Izzy and Bischoff take a hard look at what happened tonight and make some real changes. If they don't, this will be done before RAF 10.

P.S. That POS in the green shirt...how was he still able to walk around on the floor after all he did? FFS...

I was watching on mute.  What was the call that was changed in the Oliver/Bassett match? It seemed like they kept replaying a potential pushout, but then he got 2?  Terrible look to allow him to complain during the match, not change anything then, then change it after the match.  Have any wrestlers besides Bartlett had scores changed after the match was completely over and go from winning to losing, twice?

No stream for the third period of the O’Toole match.  Guess Willie shouldn’t be allowed to criticize Flo streaming issues.

Turned the sound on for Poullas/Tsarukyan.  Ben Askren does not seem to be a fan of Poullas lol, his comments during the match were great

Oliver pushed him out twice during the match and for whatever reason the ref didn't give him the points either time.  There is no grounding anymore if the guy appears to go to his knees just to try and avoid the push out (it's still a judgement call), UWW changed that back in December so RAF followed suit.  The right guy won in the end, just need to find a better way to review it in real time instead of having to wait.

Staged fights are smart.

Have to bring more drama to grow the sport.

- start giving each wrestler a free takedown card to exhibit an exciting move and action to the fans. Opposing wrestler allows takedown to happen, but gets one of his own, effectively making match 0-0 and still protecting santcutity of game.

Especially 2 strategic defensive guys. Highlight a gator roll, throw, scramble with both guys scoring etc

Doesn’t look like it was staged to me

I must have missed something - weren’t Hendrickson and Hilberg on the original card?

Hendrickson-Hillger is RAF07, about half that card is already announced.

I'm a fan of JO but that match should be considered a no contest. They were legitimate push outs but you can't have Bartlett wrestling for an extended period of time thinking he had the lead only to retroactively make the right call. Changes the entire match. Last night was not a good look for RAF all around

Similar thing happened to DeSanto in Zagreb a few weeks ago when he thought he was winning 12-12 on criteria and actually already had his hand raised.  Then they reviewed and changed it to a loss because the opponent had it.  He should've been going for a score at the end instead of trying to prevent one, and they didn't put time back on the clock to give him a chance.  Everyone knows he got screwed, but It's officiating and weird stuff happens.  It's not like Bartlett is off the roster because he lost a controversial match, if anything it probably helps him get a rematch.
