BruceyB Posted February 23 Posted February 23 IMO Lockett was clearly not 100%. Maybe illness, maybe injury, maybe mental. He looked like he didn't want to be out there in that match. This is obviously completely speculation, but here's my guess. Lockett is not 100% and having the win from November over Caliendo, he told DT he wasn't ready to go for this match, but DT said "You're good enough to go. You're not sitting out." Lockett went out there but his head wasn't right on top of whatever else he might be dealing with. Lockett wrestled like someone who didn't truly believe he was the better wrestler on the mat.

LemonPie Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Poor DT has to watch this type of match nearly every day in practice when Ryder goes with Merrill. 3 more years of it, too.

BruceyB Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Watching the edge tactics of trying to shoot/walk someone out of bounds for the stall call and guys circling at the very last second to try for a weak action call is worse than if there was just a penalty for going OB. Hate the gaming of OB.

pawrestler Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Burroughs is doing really well on commentary tonight imo. Good balance between knowledge and personality
BruceyB Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) A stall call here would be hilarious. I was being facetious. I didn't think they're actually do it. Give me the pushout lmaoooo. Edited February 23 by BruceyB
Truzzcat Posted February 23 Posted February 23 what a terrible way to end a match. I am the personal property of VakAttack
Doublehalf Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Don't agree with the no takedown or the last stall call. Ryder was out of bounds when he shot...
