Looks like this is already the case with Rich Figs. Bailey could be on this path. I wonder if NIL will have clauses moving forward where performance reflects what they are paid. Even though i'm not an Iowa fan, it's tough to watch a team give these kids a nice payday and they basically ride out the season, not being a strong contributor to their team. (Looks like Figs won't even be a starter) Yes, doesn't happen every time but teams might be more cautious moving forward in the future. Knox may be a good example of this. Really glad Ohio St told him to kick rocks after demanding a bag, let alone with under 10 collegiate matches under his belt.

I could see it becoming where some deals may be more lucrative, but they have built in incentive bonuses rather than upfront money, bet on yourself type of situation. NM1965 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 According to Wrestlestat the 2nd teamer at 141 is Kale Petersen. He's 15-1 this year wrestling mostly a scrub schedule with a lot of matches against D2/D3 competition. His best win against D1 guys is against the #35 guy from Navy (Ricciardi, whom he also lost to). Seems like he'd be the guy, doesn't it?
