Richie Figs - where does he go?

[Jimmy Cinnabon]

If the Jax second semester rumor is true then what happens to former National Champion Richie Figs?  I can't imagine he would be content just to ride the pine the rest of the year.  Would he be allowed to portal out?

I think he can transfer and not lose eligibility, as long as his academic record is good.

Where might he land? Before he went to Ok State there were rumors about Rutgers.

Heard Iowa needs a 33.

He’s HEW. And I don’t think it matters if Jax goes or not…he’s lost the spot to Ramirez.

My guess is he joins a frat and drinks his way to 180lbs before starting life next summer.

I’m guessing Figs is done. Seems like he kinda checked out a year ago

Rutgers and Goodale are way too loyal to bring a guy in half way through the season and replace Shawver the leader of the team, so unless Figs is certified at 125 that’s not happening.

I agree. Figs isn't an upgrade over Shawver anyways.

Is that even an option? From what I could find the next portal window for wrestling isn't until April.
