tOSU wrestled most of their starters except 149 & 157.  No Chittum at 157 either, is that considered a double duck?  149 was their only loss, and of their wins the only guys that did not get bonus were McCrone (4-2) and Geog (16-12)

Landon Desselle, the other 57 for ohio state is from tennessee. Yesterday was his first start, in his home state, against a team that heavily recruited him.

People on this board said he was wanting to go to a big ten school. He never did. He IS redshirting this year and by all accounts will stay in Chattanooga next year.

People said "Iowa blew it" with Chittum a few years back by bringing in the Ferraris.  Looks like they made the right decision after all, despite some minor sports car trouble.  Both families seem very high maintenance, but Iowa looks to have made the correct choice.  Wonder what will be said about the Bassett situation down the road?

Couldn't agree more with you. TnT showed their priorities when it came to the Ferraris. Just because Chittum didn't pan out doesn't mean they made the right decision. If my kid was D1 caliber, can't say I'd encourage them to go to Iowa City.

Absolutely the right choice.  Not only did he not pan out, Dad is allegedly a nightmare whom programs have put up with because he has money and the kid is good.

2/3 Ferraris did not work out, and they were shown the door.  The one that did is on pace to score more points at NCAA this year than Chittum will over the course of his career.

Guess your kid is not going to Iowa City.  Do you feel as strongly about Brookville, Boone, Baltimore, Chapel Hill, Lincoln, and Bakersfield? Probably not.  My guess is there is a strong chance that you are a hater.

Also: Brands did not show Chittum the door, Dad supposedly made him leave because of friction with the Ferraris.  It was a Chittum choice in actuality if the stories are accurate.
