My Fav. Super bowls

Prince
Bootie Battle was Epic also
50 Cent Upside Down

I think Pit Bull  with Lil John should anchor it every year, and a few guest stars each year.

Example of being too scared to answer the question and admit to being a racist sheep.

Who is being a racist sheep?

I too have no idea whom this bunny is.  Nor is the Super Bowl half time show watchable.

The SB certainly is going for a certain demographic, and that is not 35-100 year olds.   Bad Bunny, as I understand it, only performs in spanish.   Who wants to watch that in the United States?   Is that demographic a majority of those that will be watching the SB?   Plus the optics of putting a Bad Bunny on the bill.   For those not in the know, and I am one of them, I was like what is a bad bunny.   I figured he was some rapper and I hate rap.   I understand rap is somewhat popular, but a rapper in spanish at the SB?   It just seems like a reach for something that I am not seeing.

I don't care really, I haven't watched or paid attention to any of the halftime shows lately because they were rap and what I did see was horrible.

Put on Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam or even Neil Young.   A group that will actually play live.

Neil Young is 79 years old. I’m 46 and haven’t bought a Neil Young anything since Harvest Moon … shortly after he and Pearl Jam crushed the ‘93 VMAs.

The teenagers next door listen to Bad Bunny. Their dad does too, he’s my age. My kids are in that goofy K-Pop Demon Hunters era …

Point is, anyone over 50 isn’t the target demographic. I also have owned numerous foreign CDs over the years and enjoyed the beats and music across genres - the bitching about the SB halftime I see on my social feeds is just angry old people and get off my lawn types. I don’t care. I still miss the Bud Bowl.

Insert catchy tagline here.

Screw you Jason, all I hear down here is latin music lol....

Just saying J Lo and Shakira do over would be just fine, and Shakira sings in Spanish.

I'm just saying bad bunny doesn't sound like wholesome entertainment meant for the family.

... nothing about the SB Halftime show has been wholesome entertainment for the family since ... maybe Paul McCartney two DECADES ago in 2005. The last time there was something that could be deemed wholesome, family entertainment would have been 1990 when the New Kids on the Block performed and there was a cast of Disney characters running around.

The year prior to that (McCartney) was Nipplegate with Janet Jackson, Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Kid Rock and Nelly.

I watched a little last year and was not impressed.   However, my son thought it was pretty good.   I'm probably outside the target audience.   I really liked The Who, but that was eons ago.   Bad bunny just sounds like something from the dark side but I have to remember:

I choose to watch or not watch the SB half time show based on the artist that is performing...I personally don't like certain music for no other reason than I don't like that type of music...same line of thought as I don't like coconut because I don't like coconut.  Hence, I won't be watching this year's half time show purely because I don't like that style of music.

But I am not sure why it bothers people that bad bunny performing bothers people?  Does that impact your life in anyway?  If someone wants to throw a hissy fit because of the choice a private industry made, so be it.

I agree with you on this; it's my choice, and if it's something I would like I watch, I will probably watch it this year, as I have two teenage daughters.

You ask why some are upset. I think it's because the NFL continues to try to politicize the NFL, and many fans do not like that aspect. They have done it so many times, I think many fans are tired of it. Every decision they make seems to be an angle of some kind.

I am a big football fan. I would prefer you keep politics out of my football, but that's just my .02. As for Bad Bunny, who gives a shit about him? He is an entitled millionaire who hates the country that made him a millionaire. He has the right to express and support his opinions. Just like people have the right to choose not to have him perform, the best part is that you can turn the channel, get wings, or, better yet, talk to someone. Let's not be like the left and actually be tolerant.

I agree...I wish football and all sports would keep politics out of it!

As for Bad Bunny, I had never heard of the guy before...then someone told me he was a rapper, and I was like "Oh...probably why I never heard of the guy."  I have nothing against rap or rappers in general it just isn't my cup of tea.

That's cool you will watch the half time with your daughters!!  I can't tell you how many Justin Bieber songs I heard and learned the words to when my son was little, and he went through the Bieber Fever phase...LOL...so glad he is grown now and likes country and older rock and roll.
