The No Kings protest or better known as the We Hate America Rally. They have lost their power and their relevance.

Rasta, I'm really not understanding how we differ on this.   The protests are because they hate Trump and all that he is doing.   I only gave some bullets as examples.   I can see that we may differ if we go from there, but I think the overall "We hate Trump" is the reason for the No Kings Rally.   And the good thing is it worked,  we don't have a king.

The No Kings crowd is no more interesting than any other communist or America hating demonstration.  Protesting is not an American trait, it is practiced in nearly every country in the world, save North Korea.  President Trump was duly elected and is taking care to faithfully execute the laws.  Some people, for nefarious reasons, don’t want the laws to be enforced and are willing to overstep their authority, and other’s rights, to prevent enforcement.  That is not commendable.  The minority, unable to win at the ballot box, are trying to get their way by bullying, complete with hired protesters.  That is not commendable.

Trump isn’t a King, and he doesn’t act like one.  Though he fares much better in final court rulings than either Obama or Biden, every time a lower court rules against him, he stops whatever activity they order stopped until a higher court rules that he is acting constitutionally, after all.  In nearly every case, it has, and can be shown, from immigration to the remodeling of the White House, that the loudest protests against him, either have stated favor for the same policy in their past, or stood silently while the same thing happened in the past.  The media being ultra guilty of the latter.

So, in the end, it’s just faux outrage, disruption intended to hurt Trump, be damned anyone else it hurts.  Sheep willing to trade virtue for dollars.  It’s silly, it’s nonsensical.  And it’s TDS.

 politicians and politics are trash.

Serious, sincere question for you Cav, not at all to try to be an ass (as difficult as that may be for some to believe). But you throw this out there from time to time, that All politicians are trash (even though you constantly bag on one side of the spectrum while backpacking the other side, but that’s not my point here). My question is:

If that’s the way you truly feel, why do you spend soooooo much of your time, all day every day, so very focused on them?   If you look at the ‘data’, you post on here 20-30 times a day about politicians, many of those posts are copy and pastes from Twitter or tick tock, which means for as much time you’re spending on here, you’re also spending an ample amount of your day on those sites scrolling about politicians.  Why give so much of your energy to an area you see is trash when that energy is doing nothing to impact it?  Again honest question not to be a dick, but maybe to promote thought.

Believe it or not there is a beautiful world out there.  No matter where you live you can find that beautiful world (I’ve lived and worked in Chicago, I get it), if you choose.  Why do you choose to immerse yourself in trash?

I think I’ve said this to you before but I will say again, I highly reccomend watching “The Social Dilemma”.  Consuming so much social media can have very grave effects.  Just my two cents.

They didn't have time to fully redo the primary nomination process. Any winger that gets their panties in a bundle over this is an idiot. They did what they did and, yes, suffered consequences. It's really none of our business though unless we are actual members of the party.
