How long would Nickal last with Chimaev in folk?

Having seen their last fights, we all know Chimaev would hammer nickal in free (probably 2 fours and a two), but Nickal could probably muddy the waters significantly in folk....though the 3 point takedowns might make it worse...

I think Bo would tech/pin him in both realistically (I am not a huge fan of Bo).

I would have said that before I heard DC talking about footage of Chimaev training with Saduleev.  I haven't seen the footage, but DC was impressed.  Made it seem as if Chimaev made Sad work at least a little.

I tend to take what DC says with a grain of salt, but he did look really good in that training assuming Sad was going relatively hard.

Bo would pin him in the first period in folk and tech him in freestyle , People forget Bo went up a weight class and walked through U23s teching the Russian in the finals and then made final X and lost to J’Den cox who has 2 world titles, a world silver , 2 world bronze and an Olympic bronze

U23 is not really a priority for most countries.  Hit and miss.

I also remember Bo going up a weight and getting teched by a guy who DNP in the Olympics.  Maybe went 0-1.

So your dislike of PSU is so strong that you’ll not only brush off a U23 world title , you’ll defend a Russian who up until recently was banned from entering the country bc of his close friendship with an international terrorist and to top it off you re taking a shot at Cox whose arguably the most underrated US wrestler of all time and who knocked off both Dake and Taylor to keep them off world teams

No, but I'm pretty sure he didn't wrestle a top Russian.  That is all.  My fave wrestling team is Team USA, and I generally root for them unless our rep is a drug cheat.  I will admit that I wasn't as all-in on Snyder as I used to be.

PS: I love Nolf, but you went a little far claiming he invented moves that he pinned people with.  (Most PSU guys say the Winn-Dixie pre-existed Nolf)

Going to have to disagree about the quality of the field,  the Russian that he teched in the finals has a world silver and world bronze since then , the Azerbaijan wrestler he beat 9-2 was reigning u23 world champ and reigning euro champ, the Japanese guy he pinned was Japans senior level rep that same year and to top it off he also teched an Iranian all while bumping up weight which is no small feat in international competition

Saduleev and Chimaev shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breathe as far as wrestling goes 

that may be true about Nolf but until someone actually points out who else hit the Winn Dixie in a D1 match against a returning AA then I’ll keep giving Nolf his props

I can certainly put Sad and Chimaev in the same BREATH (no e) because I do not like how either cozies up to dictators or tries to violate international law.  It has nothing to do with wrestling for either.

P.S. My understanding is Cody Sanderson was doing the Winn-Dixie before Nolf

I also learned that he couldn't hold down a non-folkstyler and was shy about being punched and kicked.  Struggles mightily with Cardenas, but would tech Chimaev in the first ... but I am mean to J'Den Cox because Nickel was teched by Mohammedian at a ranking series.

Also was afraid to take down a Scotsman who was on the 18th hole of his career.

I have said how much I like Nolf in recent days.  I root for Nickal in MMA and if he wears a Team USA singlet.  It just so happens Nickal is one of the more unlikable non-criminals in wrestling.  He also isn't as good at MMA as advertised and is apparently getting worse at wrestling.  But ... you are going to have the PSU faithful act as rumpswabs for anyone who wears the Nit singlets.  And that is what I will "hate on."

What is he going to do against the 6x BJJ world champ he is facing next month?  He had better start looking into other means of employment if he's afraid of anyone who is halfway decent off their backs in the UFC.   Top is an extremely dominant position.
