Mats B & D are where the action is for the Americans...

Magomed Sharipov (5th at 86 in 2023) loses to Georgia. Had him penciled in as Hidlay's biggest match this morning.

I wish Kyle Snyder would utilize his physical strength in matches the way Hidlay has. Obviously Snyder is a superior Wrestler to Hidlay, but I don’t feel like he ever uses his physical strength advantages enough, even at 97kg.

Lol when Hidlay has as many medals and world titles as Snyder we can take this post serious

So far from what I saw this morning, I would say... absolutely!

Did you see my point? The physical aspect, not the technical. He’s technically elite in 97. I’m just shocked he doesn’t utilize his strength advantage sometimes. He tries to out-technique some wrestlers that he doesn’t have the skill set for.

I made it very clear that Hidlay isn’t close to Snyder.

So because he doesn't run an Iranian underhook and run guys out of bounds he doesn't use strength? Dude has hamstrings from hell and definitely horses people around that he can. But his game is finesse and wearing people down. Never been the strongest at his weight, but always upper tier.

is there a reason they're only running matches on mat B right now?

Holding to start all the quarters together; Mat B was slacking on their early round matches and holding up the show

Valid point. I concede to that. Well said.

They run all 4 quarters matches for each weight on all 4 mats. Waited for r16 to finish, and will wait for all 4 matches to finish before going on to the next weight.
