Abakarov down 0-4 on mat C

He's now down 7-1... now 7-3 w/ the TD.

Is the pull to 57Kg was to great for him? ( That seems more his wt.cl than 61Kg.)

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Colesnic wrestled very well vs Abakarov... final 7-4.

The same Russian who beat him today is the one he beat in the gold medal match. But no Moussami correct. Would have been bad.

Are you talking about the same Masoumi who skirted by skinny Ben Kueter, or does he have a brother?  Because that was not an impressive win.

And Keuter had a good takedown in that match. That said, Moussami was wrestling with one hand and the general consensus is that he is top 5 in the world at lowest today. Possible they meet at again one day if Keuter heals up, sticks with wrestling, and takes The Leap.

Kueter was wrestling with one hip.

You love making injury excuses to make your point, but disregard the fact that other guys may be hurt if it goes against your point.

Pretty sure smart Wyatt beats that version of Masoumi.

If it makes everything better and I disagreeingly say that Wyatt beat Kerk outstandingly will that make it better that he went 0-1 today and has lots of holes in his freestyle game even though I think he has some of the best technique? Is that the point? Or are we just complaining to kill time?

I was hugely disappointed in Wyatt.  He looked terrible.  He also looked terrible against Hilger and unimpressive at RAF. just didn't like your reasoning.

The ref on Mat B needs to get another whistle... it sounds like he got THAT one from a novelty store!😆

Do the North Koreans train outside of there?  How do they get so good?

i don't think they're generally allowed to train outside of north korea

but it's a decently sized country and every once in a while you get a world-class athlete that seems to appear out of nowhere from their domestic system

In general it seems like they don't send someone to Worlds unless they feel that individual will represent well; so usually if you see a North Korean at worlds you can expect them to at least be of some quality

They must have a "great" motivation incentive. I think, if they don't comeback w/ great results, well... I don't fancy they're going to be greeted w/ " open " arms (IF you get my drift, eh? 😏)
