What is the status on Bo’s college choice? This round had way less publicity than his first cycle.

Chatter seems to indicate Nebraska as a likely favorite vs Ok State and PSU

From a biased standpoint, VT is probably a better choice if he wants to be a program changer. He could slot in after Henson graduates and would get to train with Henson since he’ll likely be around Blacksburg to train for the next Olympic cycle. If I was a rising 149 college prospect, I’d jump at the opportunity to train with Henson who will end up as one of the top 149 guys in history.

Isn’t the guy who beat Henson at Nebraska?

It is weird that VT was in the “top 4,” and Bo claimed “all the NIL offers were similar,” yet it seems like we haven’t heard much about them since the decommitment.   He could probably the face of the ACC

Agree 100%. VT/ACC would be a great fit for him. His profile, both on and off the mat would likely skyrocket. In the B10 or 12, he’d be just another really good wrestler,

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the ACC, it could help lift up one of those programs but he would get more exposure in the B1G.

As is the 157 national champ.

Good point. The huskers are a solid program, with a great coach and an attractive landing spot. I’m not sure how much AJ being there would influence Bo’s decision though.

I think he is taking time. Melvin also can't have his official visits yet, I could see him wanting to let Melvin have his recruiting moment/ they could look at schools together. His youngest brother (Keegan) is a few weeks out from going to U17 worlds, Fargo is less than a week away- I think once we hit August or so, this will ramp right back up.

Was VT the one that wasn’t even on Melvin’s top 8 or 9 or whatever?  I suppose that could be why people could think them getting Bo is dead

Yes, VT didn’t make Melvin’s cut.

Belechik's girlfriend must approve then I suppose.

So this is what happens when you read the headline, but not the article. You end up looking dumb.

Pitt is the intriguing one to me on Melvin's list (assuming that's also Bo's list).  Since my fan bias didn't make the cut, I wouldn't hate them all going there; would still be the face of the ACC as some mentioned

I would love for them to come to Oakland. Pitt needs to at least secure them for a visit ASAP. Especially with VT and UNC being so aggressive after them. Fargo could help, Pitt normally has coaches on the Team PA staff (part of how the staff got so close with Vince Bouzakis) that could be working with Bo/Melvin.

PSU is out with all the recent scandals.  I think it's going to be Ok State.

Aren’t you on record saying Okie St is all but done ?

No.  When did I ever say anything close to that?

If my memory serves me correctly it was Second comment of the “Nebraska can’t afford  Bo” thread.

I misread your comment.  I said it Ok St then and that's what I said now.

I know there is no chance, but a lineup of Bassett-Kannon Webster-Melvin Miller-Braeden Scoles at Illinois would be nails. Poeta would teach the slick stuff and if AOC sticks around he has one of, if not the, best front-head series in the country for short offense/defense wins matches. Those four could seriously push each other to a murderers' row of national champs.

I have no idea if this is true or not but being in a city (as opposed to a town) in a place that loves wrestling would have to give them quality NIL opportunities, right?
