Complete bs response. I'm talking about fundamentalists (often evangelicals), not your every day Christian. Almost everybody I this country claims to be a "Christian" but most  of them don't even go to church regularly.

Here's a great article on it if you are interested. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/02/04/qanon-christian-extremism-nationalism-violence-466034

does it mention any killings?

Numerous examples at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism as a starting point for you with references that you can go to if you want a deeper dive.

It's virtually impossible to statistically isolate for the fundamentalists in comparison to the general population, most of which claim to be Christian since it gives them various social and economic advantages.

It's painfully obvious though when you look at the recent mass murders that Christian fundamentalism is a monster problem in this country and the world. ALL of these people need to be put on a watch list.

but you are saying qanon is a christian entity?

Not officially but Christianity is a strong component of a lot of their beliefs & principles. For all practical purposes, YES, to a significant extent. Enough that I consider QAnon to be a "Christian fundamentalist organization."

QAnon is not a Christian fundamentalist organization in the formal sense—there is no church hierarchy, doctrine committee, or membership roster like in traditional religious institutions.

Yeah, not "formally." I said "not officially" but there's a huge relationship and influence between the two

antifa isn't sponsored by the GOVT

Also objectively.  You shouldn’t get your news from Reddit.  You’re almost an adult.  The only content a grown man can get from Reddit without shame is p0rn.

What is the argument now?

Which Religion is more dangerous and prone to fundamentalists attacks?

This can't be a real discussion.

Domestically-Christian Fundamentalists

Globally-Muslim Fundamentalists

This shouldn't even be a discussion. This is a predominately Christian Nation, ergo, you have MANY times more "Christians" who commit acts of terror.

Globally...even though there are more Christians, there are MANY times more fundamentalist Muslims and they pose a far bigger threat.

As for the videos of who is more insufferable, someone praying to Trump or crying to Trump or some...self diagnosed "neurodivergent" person crying... they're both impossible to watch and equally ridiculous.

What would be more interesting to me is to study the type/personality of a person that turns into a Christian/Muslim Fundamentalist and uses religion to justify the killing of other people.  To me that is where the understanding probably starts versus focusing on the religion.

But who knows maybe this has already been done.

Agreed, but I think this has been studied.

Sorry maybe deserves a separate thread, but Charlie Kirk basically just said NYC shouldn’t have a Muslim mayor because of 9/11.  Nothing will convince some of these people that not all Muslims are out to kill them.

Charlie Kirk is a racist anti Semite so I'm not surprised.

I have two very close relatives. One is 25 years in the FBI.

My Uncle had long hair, he was a hippy, kinda a stoner. But he shaved his head and got a hat like Walter White had in breaking bad. He looked JUST like him. He was traveling with my Aunt in their RV and they stopped in New Mexico and he looked just like Walter White with the Gotee and hate, shaved head. So he took a couple pictures and posted them.

His son called and made him take those down because they were glorifying a drug dealer and would reflect badly upon him.

Not long after that, he re-posted a meme with Ellison from Minnesota and Tlalib and Omar(both of whom had 72% or more in their races) and quoted Bin Laden about how "we will take America down from the inside."

Now...I don't like Tlaib or Omar all that much(Ellison was a good, reasonable man IMO).

And then his own personal post, "Just like Bin Laden promised, they're taken them down from the inside. How are we allowing this to happen.

The other one was in the Navy 20 years and very high ranking, he talked about approving Afghan interpreters getting Temporary Protected Status...(which we're taking away and sending them back to get slaughtered)...

He never said how much say he had, but he just talked about a few guys YEARS later and how they helped(he was in Intelligence, he wasn't on the ground so far as we know).

But he agreed and he liked it.

Yes, I think Muslims are a bigger threat in the Middle East due to a number of issues, partially how the US has used them, how they've been to War, how they've interfered, but mostly... they come from theocratic Countries.

I've found that Muslims in the United States are just happy to be here..

And the statistics bear it out, the Christians IN AMERICA are far-far more likely to want to take down the Country or commit acts of terror.
